I watched in amusement as Aurelia wrestled with the little dragon, Ignis squirming in her arms as if he was still full of energy after causing so much chaos.
She looked absolutely frazzled, her hair in disarray, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself.
Ignis, on the other hand, was utterly adorable despite the fact that he had just set part of the training grounds on fire.
"Well," I said, folding my arms and giving Aurelia a sly smile, "it looks like you've got your hands full with this one."
Before Aurelia could respond, Ignis's attention snapped to me. His wide, gleaming eyes locked onto mine, and, without warning, he leapt out of Aurelia's grasp and flew directly towards me, his tiny wings flapping wildly.
I barely had time to react before he landed squarely on my shoulder, nuzzling his snout into my neck like a needy kitten.
