The training session had pushed us all to our limits. My muscles ached with every movement, and the exertion of the day weighed heavily on my mind. As I wiped the sweat from my brow, Aurelia approached me, her eyes filled with concern.
"Lydia, I think we should stop here for today," she said gently. "You're exhausted."
I nodded, too tired to argue. "You're right. Let's head back."
We made our way to my chambers, the castle corridors quiet and dimly lit by the fading evening light. The cool air inside the castle was a welcome relief after the intensity of our training. As we reached my room, I felt a wave of fatigue wash over me, and I barely had the energy to change out of my training clothes.
Aurelia noticed my struggle and gently took my hand. "Let's get you cleaned up," she said, guiding me to the bathroom.
