Shangguan Xiu left the room first, then carelessly took a cell phone from a bodyguard and immediately dialed the number Ouyang Zhi had used to call him earlier. He had an excellent memory, so he had only looked at the unfamiliar string of numbers once before he had committed it to memory.
However, the phone indicated that it was a disconnected number, completely unreachable.
"Damn it!" Shangguan Xiu cursed softly, unwilling to waste any more time, and dialed Ouyang Zhi's other numbers from memory.
But each call failed to get through.
The last number finally connected, but no one answered.
Shangguan Xiu furrowed his brow fiercely, tirelessly redialing until the other party switched off their phone.
Shangguan Xiu couldn't help but curse again and turned to head back to the study, intending to use special software to track Ouyang Zhi's location from that last call.
If he could find it, he should be able to find Ouyang Zhi.
