"It's not your fault!" Shangguan Xiu nodded, and he didn't seem to be lying.
Seeing this, An Xiaomian then silently thought to herself.
She might as well agree to cook for him!
It's just one dinner after all.
And it's only for two people.
An Xiaomian didn't say much more to Shangguan Xiu, anyhow her home-cooked meals tasted quite good, since from a young age she had always been treated like a nanny at her uncle and aunt's house, her cooking skills were somewhat decent.
So, she rolled up her sleeves, found an apron, and was about to tie it on.
No sooner had she put on the apron than a pair of large hands suddenly appeared behind her. Shangguan Xiu automatically tied the apron for her from behind, then spoke in a slightly unnatural tone, "Is there anything you need me to help with?"
"Hmm, not for the moment," An Xiaomian glanced at the kitchen's set-up, feeling she could handle it on her own.
