Wei Anning picked up a fork and put a mouthful of spaghetti in an attempt to hide her embarrassment but ended up choking on the spicy black pepper. She quickly covered her mouth, swallowing the food in her mouth as if gobbling down a date, before continuing to cough.
Seeing her choking, Leng Youchen reached out and gently patted her back. "Are you okay? I'll get you a glass of water."
Wei Anning's face was flushed, her ears crimson—though, most of the blushing was because of Leng Youchen's ambiguous words. She waved her hands dismissively, "I'm fine, I'm fine. You eat, don't worry about me."
The noodles had gotten stuck in her windpipe, causing her much discomfort; she swallowed saliva desperately but couldn't relieve the discomfort.
Leng Youchen sighed and wheeled himself out to fetch her a cup of warm water. "Drink some water, it'll make you feel better."
