Wei Anning lowered her gaze and looked at him, already cautiously concealing her thoughts. She couldn't let him detect anything, or she wouldn't be able to leave. She nodded, "Okay."
The two got into the car, the driver started the engine, and they slowly left the villa.
Wei Anning resisted the urge to look back, but she couldn't help it and turned around to see the villa getting smaller and smaller until it finally disappeared from sight. Her nostrils tingled, and tears started rolling down her cheeks unexpectedly.
"Why are you crying?"
Leng Youchen's gentle voice came from beside her. She quickly raised her hand to wipe away the tears and looked out the window in a fluster, "It's nothing, I just suddenly felt a bit reluctant to leave."
Leng Youchen leaned in, cupping her face in his hands, and turned her head back towards him. Seeing her red-rimmed eyes, he teased, "We're not leaving forever, so why the tears?"
