Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 Punish Her_1

The small dark room was located on the northern side of Aisha Island, where human activity was sparse – the most secluded area of the island, with a vast expanse of undeveloped primeval forest. Previously used to discipline disobedient servants, Wei Anning was the first master to be punished here.

The Butler led Wei Anning to a sealed room, looking at her with concern, "Third Young Lady, go and make amends with the Third Young Master. He cares a lot about you; he cannot bear to punish you."

Wei Anning's thoughts were somewhat in flux, the last look Leng Youchen gave her before he left still haunting her vision – that look contained so much heartache, disappointment, anger, and loneliness.

"Third Young Lady?"

Wei Anning snapped back to reality and smiled at the Butler, "Mr. Butler, please convey to Leng Youchen that I am not wrong, I just want to return to my own world."

Having said that, she lifted her leg and stepped into the room without looking back, her silhouette resolute.

The Butler shook his head and locked the door. As he turned, he saw Leng Youchen standing silently on the path, staring profoundly at that room. The Butler started with shock and quickly approached, "Third Young Master, I don't think the Third Young Lady is lying..."

Leng Youchen's lips curled slightly, his eyes filled with scorn as he said, "You think I am in the wrong?"

"I wouldn't dare!"

Leng Youchen looked up at the small dark room, his phoenix eyes narrowing dangerously. She would rather be locked in the small dark room than stay by his side, fine, very well! "Keep a close watch on her and report to me at all times."

"Yes!"

Leng Youchen took one last look at the small dark room and stomped off, furious.

As the door closed behind her, the light in the room vanished instantly, and a tidal wave of darkness surged forward. Wei Anning felt a moment of panic, forcing herself to calm down.

Leng Youchen wanted to make her submit through this method, but she would not comply! If she could not leave this place, staying in the opulent castle or this pitch-black small dark room made no difference; both were cages.

She groped her way to the wall and sat down. With eyes open or shut, there was no longer any difference. The tension and excitement of the full day had kept her on edge, and as she relaxed, she felt very tired. She closed her eyes, and soon, leaning against the wall, she fell asleep.

One hour, two hours... until nightfall.

With a "bang," a sound of something heavy falling echoed in the study. Leng Youchen paced restlessly among the shattered pieces while the Butler watched with a trembling heart, fearful that the fragments might cut his feet.

Leng Youchen stood with hands on hips, his anger churning in his chest. He glared fiercely at the Butler, his voice exploding through clenched teeth, "Any noise from the north side?"

"No noise. The Third Young Lady has been quiet since she went in," the Butler hastily replied.

"How can there be no noise?" Leng Youchen stared at him incredulously. Normally, after entering the small black room, someone with poor mental resilience would fall apart within an hour, and even those with better resolve could not last more than five hours.

As for a delicate young lady like Wei Anjing, he had estimated half an hour for her to plead with him, to be at his mercy.

Clearly, he had underestimated her capacity.

The Butler bowed his head, unable to provide his master a satisfactory explanation for this peculiar phenomenon.

Seeing him only added to Leng Youchen's irritation. He grabbed an antique vase, now extinct, from the shelf and smashed it on the floor. Another vase destroyed, he roared in rage, "Out, all of you out!"

The Butler, looking at the scattered fragments, felt his heart bleed – the vase was worth a hundred million and was priceless!
