Commander Guo had always known that Shen Jie sometimes read high school books and knew she must have some in her possession.
But just because someone has books doesn't mean they're willing to lend them out. At a time when one's fate could be changed, everyone hoped to reduce their competition.
"You don't need them?" Commander Guo confirmed once again.
"We still have books, but we won't lend ours out anymore. All seven of us need to read," Shen Jie stated their demands, and Commander Guo nodded repeatedly, not finding her proposal excessive at all.
The seven left their books in Commander Guo's office and then turned to leave.
Several people saw the seven of them carrying books to the battalion office.
"Shen Jie, what are you doing?" someone came out and asked.
"We've given the extra books we had to Commander Guo. As for how he arranges those books, I don't know."
