After returning to the hotel, Zhang Yu took a shower and washed her clothes, then continued to sit by the window and read.
"If I go over there now, I'll probably end up having to do chores," she figured.
Since that was the case, she might as well stay here and rest comfortably.
So Zhang Yu stayed until just before ten o'clock before checking out of the hotel and heading to the Zhang family's house with her bag on her back.
Upon arriving at the Zhangs', she saw Chiang Yun sitting at the door sorting vegetables. "Sorting vegetables?"
Zhang Yu, greeting her, casually sat down next to Pan Juan.
An old neighbor who was chatting with Pan Juan looked over with a glint in her eye. "Little Yu, you're not helping out?"
Hearing this, Chiang Yun didn't stop picking through the vegetables. In her mind, the likelihood of Zhang Yu helping was slim; it was better not to expect anything, to avoid disappointment.
Zhang Yu chuckled. "I'm not helping out. Chiang Yun's got it under control."
