Qianxue's pretty face immediately flushed with embarrassment, and she wished she could burrow into the ground, so she deliberately increased the distance between herself and Huai'an.
Xu Huai'an, however, was hearty and unconcerned. Before the curious eyes of the onlookers, he carefully helped Qianxue sit down on a plastic chair in the corridor and said, "Don't take their words to heart, they are not the ones involved."
Qianxue clasped her small hands and lowered her head. If only it were really possible not to care; what she feared most now was encountering reporters, but unfortunately, Huai'an could not understand her feelings at all.
"Wait here for a moment. I'll go get you a cup of hot milk tea." Soon after, Huai'an stood up and, after giving her a considerate reminder, strode towards the end of the corridor with heads turning in surprise. His tall, lean figure stood upright.
