It must have been his grandmother who had irritated him to no end, causing his thoughts to be in disarray. Yesterday, after a call from the old man, he rushed from the company to the Leng Family Mansion, only to find the "heart attack"-stricken grandmother spiritedly preparing for a banquet.
The grandmother mysteriously mentioned she was preparing for a family gathering and invited some relatives and friends to attend, insisting that he stay at home for a few days. He immediately ran back to the company, claiming there was an emergency that couldn't be delayed.
But, the precondition for returning to the company was that he had to promise repeatedly that he would come back in the evening. Only then did his grandmother agree to let him go.
