Situ Xin and the rest had just left when the private room suddenly grew cold and silent. Qiu Qin stared blankly as Situ Xin and company walked away, her tears, without her noticing, overflowed from her eyes and silently dropped onto the floor, one by one.
Qiu Qin's daze lasted until An Ting, because of the wound on her face, touched the tears she had previously shed, and felt a sharp pain that made her scream in agony, which finally brought Qiu Qin back to her senses.
"An Ting, how are you?" Although Qiu Qin had been silently blaming An Ting earlier for calling her in a panic without getting to the truth of the matter, resulting in this mess, she and An Ting were good friends for so many years after all. She knew An Ting meant well, so when An Ting screamed in pain, Qiu Qin was indeed concerned.
"Qin, my face, it hurts." An Ting was in so much pain that even the clothes on her back were soaked.
