Jiang Xi, acting on a whim, flew to the border without really thinking through what she was going to do.
But once she arrived, her thoughts suddenly became clear.
She came to the border to retrieve the year of memory she had lost, but where should she start looking?
Jiang Xi propped her head up while the driver in front kept glancing at her through the rearview mirror, "Young lady, where are you from?"
Jiang Xi: "Jing City."
"The capital, ah, a nice place. No wonder your presence is so distinguished at first glance. Are you here for fun?" The driver continued to chat enthusiastically with her.
Jiang Xi looked at the middle-aged driver, who had an honest and simple face, and she didn't feel put off by his enthusiasm.
"Hmm, just taking a look."
"Then you've come to the right place," the driver began introducing the city's attractions and delicacies.
Throughout the journey, Jiang Xi occasionally joined in the conversation, making the short trip less lonely.
