Chu Qing looked down at Wen Muqing, who was kneeling before her, slipping her feet into slippers, and felt as if something heavy was pressing on her chest.
Since their reunion, he had been dominating and tyrannical, yet sometimes so incredibly careful and cautious. These contradictory traits were reflected so vividly in the way he treated her.
Chu Qing entered the bathroom to wash up, and when she finished and stepped out, she almost collided with Wen Muqing, who was waiting for her.
"Done?" he asked.
She stared at him blankly until he lifted his hand and his fingertips brushed her lips, "Done?" the same question emerged from his mouth again.
She then realized what he was asking.
"Done... done," she said uneasily, aware that some things could no longer be avoided now.
He slowly leaned down towards her, and her entire being seemed to be enveloped by his presence.
