"I met Chu Qing today," said Lu Mianmian, cutting straight to the chase.
"What?" Qin Jingzhi jolted in shock, abruptly standing up, ready to charge at Lu Mianmian.
Wen Mulan quickly stepped in, blocking Lu Mianmian's path and stopping Qin Jingzhi as well.
Lu Mianmian continued, "Chu Qing is now with Wen Muqing. In a couple of days, Chu Qing and Wen Muqing will move back to the apartment she once owned. And..."
Taking a deep breath, she added bitterly, "Chu Qing has agreed to stay by Wen Muqing's side, so I think, you'd better be mentally prepared. Otherwise, when you see Chu Qing again, it might lead to a conflict with Wen Muqing."
Qin Jingzhi's face turned pale, "How is that possible? How could she agree to such terms? She doesn't love Wen Muqing anymore!"
Lu Mianmian kept silent, knowing this was something Qin Jingzhi needed to process on his own.
