The first batch of Lingering Scent that came out of the brewing was, of course, reserved for Jian Shichu to taste first.
Feeling cheerful, Ye Qingci personally made a few side dishes, waiting for Jian Shichu to return. Prompting him to wash up and change his clothes, she immediately pulled him to sit down at the dining table, filled his cup to the brim, and asked, "Try it, is it good?"
She watched Jian Shichu with bubbling enthusiasm, her eyes shining like stars.
Jian Shichu's appetite was stimulated; leaning over, he kissed her on the lips and exclaimed, "Delicious! Sweeter than honey!"
Ye Qingci laughed at his teasing, pushing him slightly, "I'm being serious! This is the third type of wine I've developed, called Lingering Scent. Try it!"
Jian Shichu tilted his chin up slightly, tapping below his lip with his long fingers.
Ye Qingci was speechless but still picked up the cup and moved it to his lips to feed him.
