Title at the end

The marines Had begun to investigate the aftermath of the incident, but I was already long gone. Turning my attention to a ship I had spotted earlier, I raced towards it, determined to catch up before it departed.

Relying on my stealth skills, I carefully avoided the marines' gaze, slipping onto the ship unnoticed. The crew was already making final preparations, the sails unfurling as the vessel prepared to set sail.

Keeping low and moving with practiced precision, I made my way up to the deck, my heart pounding in my chest. With each step, I held my breath, praying that I wouldn't be spotted by the vigilant crew.

Finally, I reached the deck, and as I took a deep breath, a sigh of relief escaped my lips. I had made it aboard the ship, and now, I was one step closer to reuniting with Robin in Alabasta, just as I had promised.

Looking around, I took in the bustling activity of the crew, each member focused on their tasks as the ship began to pull away into a secluded room on the ship. Making sure that the door is closed behind me I take a moment of respite.

Like a marionette with its strings cut loose, I slowly sank to the ground, my back against the door. A deep sigh escaped my lips as I took in the events of the day.

"This has been a very long day," I said tiredly, running a hand through my hair.

"From stealing pirates to flirting to fighting pirates again, I have lived in this one day more than most people in their entire lifetime."

The adrenaline that had been coursing through my veins was now starting to subside, leaving me feeling drained and weary. The confrontation with Scally Wagg and his crew, the discovery of the Magnet Magnet Fruit, and the narrow escape had all taken a toll on me.Yet, despite the exhaustion, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. I had faced formidable opponents, unlocked new powers, and managed to secure my own safety and that of my companion, Robin.

It was a day that had tested my limits, but one that had also shown me the extent of my own capabilities. Closing my eyes, I allowed my body to relax, taking a moment to gather my thoughts.

After making sure the cabin door was properly closed with my magnetic metal-bending abilities, I walked tiredly to the hammock in the cabin and dropped dead to sleep.

Not long after, I woke up to the sound of shouting and screaming.

"HELP HELP PIRTATES!!!"

"What's going on?" I muttered, as I quickly sat up.

It seemed the ship was being attacked. Before I could react or do anything, there was a loud explosion, and the world turned dark.

The next thing I knew, I woke up in a dark cave with a fire crackling in the distance.

"Where am I?" I asked

A teen with a rugged face spoke up, "OH you are awake! I almost thought you would die on me. I'm Ace By the way. I was at sea alone on a small ship when I found you floating on some driftwood. I got you onto my boat, but then I got lost at sea myself." he said scratching his head with an awkward smile.

Ace D. Portgas... The son of Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King himself. And here he is, in this frozen cave, saving my life. This is unbelievable. I never imagined I'd have the chance to meet him, let alone before he became a renowned pirate.

I studied Ace's features, trying to reconcile the teen before me with the heroic figure I knew from the story. He seemed younger, perhaps a bit rougher around the edges, but the same unwavering determination burned in his eyes. He wore that same Iconic cowboy hat with a tattered black shirt and shorts

"I looked around the cave, trying to piece together what had happened.

"So, how did we end up here?"

Ace scratched his head. "Honestly, I'm not sure. After saving you we got caught in a storm and ended up here."

After gathering my bearings and getting up to sit comfortably I decide to strike a conversation with my savoir and gather more information on the situation. I start by introducing my self.

"Well, thank you for saving me. My name is Zephyr, by the way. Zephyr D. Stormborn."

At the mention of the "D" initial, I could see Ace's face change slightly. It must have something to do with the fact that he is also a "D", which reminds him of his father, Roger.

Striking the iron while it's hot, I ask him, "Is there something wrong? I noticed your face twitch a little at the mention of the 'D'."

I can see Ace's face visibly tense up, his expression becoming more guarded as he seems to be lost in his own thoughts. There's a palpable shift in his demeanor, suggesting the "D" initial has struck a chord with him, perhaps dredging up memories or emotions he'd rather keep buried.

"It's not that it's just.." He sighs.

" I don't really like thinking about my past or associating myself with it. It's something I rather leave behind me then look back onto it. All in all just don't mention my last name. Okay." He turns away.

"But you never told me your last name" I say.

He turns to face me, with a look of surprise. "Huh... I haven't?" He seems a bit worried.

"It's fine. Everyone has secrets. plus Us "D" have to have each others backs. Because you saved my life from here on out you are my brother!" I say excitedly.

He's startled by the sudden proclamation. It seems as if he doesn't really know what to say to that. "I... Umm... thank you. But being called a Brother just seems so surreal to me. I'm not even that nice of person and I hardly think i'm a good person."

"Oh I now you are an asshole don't worry" I say teasingly trying to egg him on.

He lets out an annoyed grunt, blushing a bit while he does so. You see him try hard to try to keep up his tough, cold guy act. "Shut up."

"AHAHAHAH" I laugh heartedly

"Chill dude I'm just joking. Anyway, any idea on how to get of this land?"

Is this what they call a Tsundere? God this kid is blushing harder then that time I was flirting with Robin.

Oi! System! I don't Swing that wa..

[NEW QUEST!]

[WOO ACE D PORT...]

DECLINE!, DECLINE!, DECLINE!, NO! FUCK YOU SYSTM! I DON'T SWING THAT WAY! HARAM!

Ace relieved I wasn't serious. He glances around, his golden eyes scan the island trying to find any possible escape.

He sighs. "None whatsoever. We're pretty much stranded on here."

Sensing the need to lighten the mood, I say with an upbeat tone, "Well, if there's a will, there's a way! Come on, let's search the island. You never know, we might find a cave filled with treasures." I flash Ace an encouraging smile, hoping to snap him out of his pensive state and reignite his sense of adventure.

At first, Ace frowns, but then he lets out a chuckle. The thought of a hidden cave filled with treasures seems nice, even if it was wishful thinking. "Yeah, you're right. Let's try looking for anything we can use to leave this damn place," he says, his tone more enthusiastic from before.

"That's the spirit!" I exclaim, and with that, we set off to explore the island. We eventually come across a dark, foreboding cave, and as we venture inside, we're confronted by a massive, intimidating bird monster. The creature's piercing eyes and sharp talons send a chill down my spine, but Ace remains unfazed. Without hesitation, he rushes forward, leaping into the air and delivering a powerful punch directly to the bird's stomach.

The impact causes the bird to let out a loud, guttural burp, and to our surprise, it expels a chest from its mouth. Ace quickly opens the chest, revealing a peculiar-looking fruit inside. He examines it curiously, his stomach letting out a loud, rumbling growl.

"It's fine, you can have it. I'm not hungry." I say with a smile.

"Are you sure?" He picks it up and gives you a playful yet concerned look.

"I mean I'm hungry but I don't want to leave you out."

"I'm good buddy you can have it" It is you destiny after all to eat the "Mera Mera no Mi" Fire fist Ace. I wounder if I can save you this time or is it also destiny for you to die a violent death.

Giving me one last look he bites into the fruit. Cringing he sticks out his tongue with a "bleuh" sound.

"Tastes like shit doesn't it? Here drink this. I might help washing out the taste" I say as I pull out an Americano from my inventory. I still had a good 30 or so stack in my inventory from when I was experimenting.

"Than..... WAAAAAAA! WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FROM!" He says dumb founded.

I laugh. "I have my secrets just like you, by the way you're head is on fire just wanted to let you know"

"Huh?.....WAAH WHAT THE HECK!...No wait...This fire...It's not hot?"

"Congrats...Gol D. Ace for eating your first devil fruit"

"...."

"...."

[....]

"The fuck you say to me?"

"I said.. Congrats Gol D Ac..."

Ace lunged at me, his body suddenly erupting into a blazing inferno. The intense heat and flickering flames rushed towards me, but I remained unfazed.

With a sinister grin, I quickly surrounded myself with a powerful magnetic field, warping the flames around me in a perfect, swirling circle.

The magnetic energy I had conjured created a barrier that effortlessly deflected the scorching fire, causing the flames to dance and contort in mesmerizing patterns. I watched with a twisted sense of satisfaction as Ace's attack was rendered utterly useless against my impenetrable defense. The air crackled with the clash of our opposing forces, the magnetic field pulsing and undulating as it held the flames at bay. I could see the frustration and confusion etched on Ace's face as he realized his fiery assault had been completely neutralized.

Maintaining my focus, I continued to manipulate the magnetic energy, tightening the circular barrier and causing the flames to intensify and spiral inward. The roar of the fire was deafening, but I stood my ground, my grin widening as I savored the moment.

Delving deeper into my mastery of the magnetic fields, I morphed the flames into the shape of a blazing arrow. With a fluid, practiced motion, I drew the fiery projectile back, aiming it directly at Ace like an archer knocking an arrow onto a taut bowstring.

The magnetic energy pulsed and crackled, the arrow of fire quivering with barely contained power. I could feel the heat radiating from the intense flames now purple plasma, the air shimmering with the intensity of the display. Yet, I remained unfazed, my focus unwavering as I prepared to unleash this devastating attack.

Ace's eyes widened as he recognized the impending danger, but he was too late to react. With a flick of my wrist, I released the fiery arrow, sending it hurtling towards him with incredible speed and force. The projectile sliced through the air, leaving a trail of scorching embers and electric arcs in its wake.

I purposefully manipulate the magnetic fields to warp the arrow's trajectory, causing it to miss Ace by a hair's breadth. I didn't know if the full force of the attack would be enough to kill him, and I didn't want to find out. I liked Ace as a character in the manga and if I could I would like to befriend him. So, like men I decided to make friends the only way men know... Through sheer unbridled violence.
