Leng Feifei, who sat in the passenger seat, had noticed Ye Long's mischievous glances long ago. Throughout the trip, his eyes hadn't strayed to anywhere else on her but kept wandering back to that spot. Leng Feifei was already accustomed to this behavior of Ye Long.
"Let him look all he wants; it's not like I lose anything. Besides, stopping that Slick from looking is just impossible!" Leng Feifei thought.
"Why don't you come to my place for dinner? There's nothing good outside; I'll cook for you as a reward!" Leng Feifei suggested to Ye Long.
"Hey, sounds good!" Ye Long agreed enthusiastically.
Eating at the policewoman's place was much better than any restaurant. At least at her home, one could engage in some over-the-top antics, whereas a restaurant, with its crowds, was inconvenient.
So, Ye Long raised both hands in approval.
"Let's go then, we'll stop by the market to buy some groceries first!" said Leng Feifei.
"Alrighty!" Ye Long replied, then drove toward the market.
