I fidgeted with my hands as I made my way towards the Alpha's home office. I still couldn't shake off the fact that I was two different breeds nor the fact that my inner voice constantly spoke to me.
It was driving me crazy.
"Are you going to see our mate?". I heard the inner voice again and I stopped abruptly. I shook my head, covering my ears with my hands.
"I don't know what you mean by mate". I murmured with a low hiss.
"Oh please". I heard her say. "Must I teach you everything?".
"Jess…". I called low and sighed. "Please".
"Okay, okay. But now, you do believe that I'm part of you, right Astrid?''.
"Yes, Jess, I know that you're part of me and we're stuck for life".
I heard her giggle excitedly but I ignored it. I didn't know what to think of all this and I was determined to find out. I knocked at the door and after a while, I opened it and walked into the Alpha's office.
