Chapter 1 - Transportation into a book

At night in Italy,

"Ah"

Suddenly amidst the cheering, enthusiasm, and excitement of fans of the movie King, a girl's scream echoed followed by the splash of water.

A girl falls into the canal due to the push from the crowd. The canal is 10 m long and the splashing sound and movement can be seen.

There were too many people at the venue as the movie King's movie won the Golden Lion award and all of his fans went crazy.

No one saw the girl who fell into the canal.

Soon the splashing sound and any ripple in water die down.

[I don't know how to swim... Ah.. Am I going to die just like this? Someone save me.. ]

The girl stretches her hand upwards in the hope that someone out there will hold her hand. She desperately wants to see someone come to her rescue.

In her blurry heavy state, she saw a silhouette diving toward her. She was reassured to see someone coming. Finally.

Only if... She has more time.

Beep... Beep...

"Kiki woke up. Do you still want to go to college today or not?" Sylvia knocked on her daughter's room.

That's peculiar. She always gets up early in the morning and gets ready to go to college. What happened to her today? Is she feeling uncomfortable? Sylvia thought feeling worried.

Sylvia knocked on the door continuously and the figure inside finally opened her eyes and sat up groggily.

"Kiki, open the door. Are you awake? Are.. Are you still sad about the rejection? Kiki, don't be like this baby. You have Mommy and Papa with you here. And if you... Want to date him so much we can go and talk to his parents to let you two engaged?"

"Huh? Who's that? Ah..."

Abruptly lots of memories flooded inside her mind like a rollercoaster ride and for a second zoned her out.

"I... I am fine, Mom. I'll be right there in some time"

Finally, she found her voice and replied to the urgent knocking on the door.

"You scared me. Come down. Today is your favorite breakfast" Sylvia said in relief and walked away.

It's good that she doesn't lose her mind yet. Girls nowadays!! Feeling heartbroken and lifeless over a rejection from a man. Tsk! Is there any shortage of good men? Sylvia thought.

What can I even do when my seed is also like those girls? God bless her and give her the remaining brain cells that you confiscated to not let her destroy all her good brain cells and become mad, so she can think straight. Sylvia looked up and prayed.

Inside the room, the girl got up landed on a soft furry white carpet, and approached the full-length mirror.

"How did I become Aishlynne Ford? That white lotus."

She was shocked to see her reflection in the mirror. Now she has become the white lotus who uses green tea art to entice the men she likes.

Although Aishlynne has a fair skin tone, gorgeous facial traits, long silky hair, a small nose, pinky pouty lips that are meant to be kissed, and beautiful captivating eyes, she does not have any brain.

"Twit"

Did God think my life was too bland? Otherwise, why would he throw me here? It sounds almost hilarious that I am inside a book that I read in my free time.

I still remember some of the content of that book as it was a strong female-lead-based book.

It was called" His Bodyguard Wife" in which FL was disguised as a male and became one of the bodyguards of ML on behalf of her twin younger brother because Her younger brother Ivan Frisher was injured in the family feud.

Later, with the turn of plot and events ML finds FL's identity as a girl, and slowly learns about her family situation and they fall for each other with a passionate love growing between them.

Like any other book, there was also a white Lotus girl who was chasing after the ML relentlessly but couldn't get him eventually throwing herself onto the lap of Yama.

So this is what I remembered. I still can't get over the thought that I am inside a book.

"Kiki, how long?"

It's the voice of Sylvia Ford, Aishlynne's mother now my mother. In this book, she was a rich CEO but because of her foolish daughter she lost her business and position, and even Thomas Ford, the dad of Aishlynne, got fired from his post as the principal of Linton City.

Now I recall their desperate situation even when they did not do anything excessive but faced criticism from everyone and moved to the countryside to hide.

"Kiki?"

"Ah... I am coming. 10 more minutes" I hurriedly answered and ran to the bathroom to get changed and bathe.

I just saw that day on the calendar and it's a weekday so as a student I need to go to college.

Aishlynne is blessed by her family genes' intelligence and can enroll in a finance course and stay in the top 10 after studying Arts.

I let out a deep sigh merely thinking about this. I consider myself good at studies, but I am not gonna learn finance without any motive, and go there like her just pursue a man.

"Cristiano Ronaldo once said talent without hard work is nothing. I am going to do hard work for my talent. Not going to be silky enough like Aishlynne to bang my head on the wall for a subject just to impress a man"

I hurriedly changed into a yellow color mid-length pleated dress and black shoes. I tied up my hair in a high ponytail and let two strands fall freely over my shoulder.

I must say, I was beautiful in my last life however I was considered a vital physique beauty but now I am a petite gentle type of beauty which is also enchanting.

I took another look at my reflection and went downstairs.

I look around my surroundings. Every corner of the mansion has been carefully decorated and styled with ancient pictures and antics and figures. I must say the aesthetic of this mansion is in line with my taste. I never had the time to carefully style my home back then as I had to run around the corners of the world, country to country, to perform and do my dubbing too.

"Morning Miss Ford"

A male voice came to my ear when I was looking at the interior and appreciating the beauty of money.

When I turned my head, I saw a middle-aged man sitting in a shirt and pants with a coat over it. He has a clean face without any unwanted stubble or wrinkles. He is Thomas Ford, Aishlynne's dad and now mine, It must be Mom who dragged him salon to get treatment for his wrinkles to not be so visible.

"Morning Dad" I sweetly smiled at him, and put down my bag on the couch before heading to the dining table to have my breakfast.
