Walking through the warp gate, Jaylen is immediately greeted by the sight of amazingly magically engineered skyscrapers reaching high into the heavens. Herds of people of different races move about, including elves, beast-men, and demons. Finally, magical cars drive through the roads.

"So this is the city of hope, it's vastly different from the city of shadows. It's much brighter here, a lack of shadows and there are no eclipses," I Marvel in amazement with excitement on my face to be able to explore a whole new area of The Common Empire of Yonus.
"Young Master, we must hurry to the academy lest you miss the opening ceremony." Aunt Mell advised snapping me out of my daze.
"You're right let's hurry." Rushing towards the car that would take us towards the academy.
The Vortex Shadowcaster 2024, a sleek and formidable vehicle with a design reminiscent of the iconic 2024 Ford Mustang. I Hop into the passenger seat as Aunt Mell takes the wheel and we immediately head off to the academy.

A striking depiction of a solar eclipse takes center stage, shrouded in a mysterious, shadowy aura that adds an air of mystique to the vehicle. The eclipse motif serves as a visual metaphor for the seamless blending of magic and technology, a hallmark of the City of Hope.
"Aunt Mell, you said you know a lot about this place, right?" I inquire, curiosity showing on my face to confirm I'm asking the right person.
"Yes, I lived here until 12 when I then began working at the Orpheus estate, young master," Aunt Mell states, a rare flicker of emotion appears on her usually blank expression.
"So then you know the best places to find good food, then?" I question, My enjoyment of good food revealing itself once again.
'I wonder what was that look on Aunt Mell's face?'
Aunt Mell lets out a sigh of exasperation and then responds, "I sent all information on establishments known for their good food to your Index.
"Thank you," I express my gratitude for the information. Quickly, I turn on my index, and a holographic screen appears in my line of vision.
Indexes are the creation of skilled magical engineers allowing all types of information to be stored or registered using the grand spell the grand Akashic Records of the Universe- Yonus records of Existence. A spell created from the knowledge of a powerful Mana Core expert and the spirit of Yonus supposedly.

'Hmm Aunt Mell sounded really angry for some reason why?'
"What places?" Glancing up after selecting The Records on his index Jaylen questions.

"West of the alliance building just beyond the wall alright" taking a quick glance at Jaylen Aunt Mell answers.

"Why?" Jaylen retorts after selecting Locations on his index. Very confused by Aunt Mell's behavior.
'Is there even anything over there other than wilderness or wasteland?'

"Just promise me, alright?" A saddened expression graces Aunt Mell's face as she asks Jaylen.

"Alright I promise i won't go anywhere near there Aunt Mell," unsure of the reason Jaylen reluctantly agrees
'What could possibly be the reason behind this? Hmm, I might have to investigate this matter secretly. Sorry, Aunt Mell.'

After driving for some time towards the academy, Jaylen, who had been researching food establishments in the area, is interrupted.
"Young Master, I'm sorry to distract you, but we have arrived at the academy, and young Miss Lilith is waiting at the gate for you," Aunt Mell says, causing him to cast his gaze toward the same direction.
Standing there was Lilith in her school uniform. Her attire comprised a tailored black blazer, adorned with an intricately embroidered green balance scale—a symbol of the class's academic pursuit of equilibrium and justice. The blazer, with its precisely structured silhouette, conveyed both elegance and authority. Complementing the upper garment, Lilith wore a refined gray skirt that gracefully fell to a modest length, embodying the balance between tradition and modernity.
'Ugh she does not look happy she probably going to complain a lot about how I made her wait too long'
Not letting his inner thoughts show Jaylen turns his gaze back to Aunt Mell
'Out of sight out of mind'
"Okay, thanks, Aunt Mell. I'll see you when you return to pick me and Lilith up," I replied as I get out of the car and give her a small smile.
"Be safe, young master," Aunt Mell smiles back, telling Jaylen to remain safe.
"I'll try, but nothing can hurt me here, and it's not like I'm going to go somewhere dangerous," I retorted, a little confused.
In response, Aunt Mell just stares back with a deadpan expression, as if thinking of an example of a similar event.
A little hurt by this, I hastily make my way towards Lilith, who's starting to get a little impatient.
"What took you so long you left a few hours after me," with crossed arms and a stern expression Lilith Questioned
"Um it took awhile to get here because of traffic. Sorry for that." Placing his hands together, Jaylen bows while apologizing.
A panicked expression appears on Lilith as she rushes forward swiftly helping Jaylen up. "What are you doing I was just joking I knew it would take you awhile"
Jaylen struggles to hold back his laughter at Lilith's plight. 'It's so fun teasing Lilith'
Lilith noticing pouts "Hmp, if that's how you want to be, find your own to the auditorium.
Turning around, Lilith begins to walk into the academy.
"Hey! Wait, Lilith I'm sorry" Jaylen chases after Lilith a big smile on his face
'It's finally time to start my adventure at the academy. I can't wait.'
