"So even after my warning father still has the audacity to summon Roshan, bastard" Xander said as if he wasn't talking about his own father "Xander you need to bite gabby" Xander's amused face suddenly turned dark "and what if I don't?" He asked expressionlessly "she could die in the hands of Roshan, father and mother want her dead especially mother who is looking for the cruelest ways to kill wolves" shocked passed through Xander's eyes but disappeared as if it never appeared "I'll protect her" Xander said making Xavier scoff "you know if you fight Roshan you both will destroy anything in your path.... Xander we both know how important gabby is so if you don't bite her I will" Xavier said "and what makes you think I will always you or any other vampire including myself to bite her... You know how special her blood is and you want to bite her to you can drain her dry and kill her?" Xander stated the facts that Xavier already knew but yet he still wanted to try "it's different for you, you are her mate and the bond won't allow you to suck her dry, Xander you have to do it for her safety" Xavier said and Xander looked at him as If he was thinking about what he said, Xavier thought he had finally gotten through to him until "no" Xavier could only sigh "Fine can we at least have a drink together, cause right now you look like you could kill me" Xavier joked "I will of you do something stupid" Xander said coldly "lighten up a bit, sorry I interrupted you guys by the way" this lightened Xander's mood a bit, then he said with a smirk "you better be sorry".
They talked for a while until Xander got a call and walked away to go answer it, Xavier used this opportunity to add half a pitch of epthinole in Xander's drink.
Xander came back after a while and then drank the whole drink down in one gulp, it was time for Xavier to leave, although the epthinole would take about 2 hours to take effect but he still had to leave.
"I gotta go, me, Xayden and Xavion are going on patrol, there has been cases of some rogue vampires drink human blood directly from them, so I'll leave you guys to it" Xavier said with a knowing smile on his face and left.
Xander ordered someone to clean the bar and then he went to his room to take a shower and change then he went to gabby's room to find her still awake "you haven't slept yet?" he asked walking to her bed "I was just about to" she said, Xander raised an eye brow at her, walked towards her and laid on her bed beside her "What are you doing?" gabby asked looking at him on her bed beside her "I know you have to sleep with a sleep support plushie, gabby" Xander said frankly for gabby to blush out of embarrassment "no i don't" she immediately denied "OK if not why are you as red as a tomato" he asked and smirked "lying is no use, you didn't bring the plushie cause you didn't want me to know but you forgot you can't sleep without it.... Gabriella you won't hide anything from me from now on OK?" he said and looked her as of he was pleading with her through his eyes, gabby just nodded her head as to tell him OK "now you didn't bring you have no choice but to let me cuddle you because we both know you won't sleep without it" Xander didn't even wait for her to answer before he immediately cuddled her "just put your head on my chest and sleep.... There's no need to be embarrassed, I'm your boyfriend after all" He said and smiled, gabby raised her head, looked at him and gave him a pout but eventually did as he said, she was embarrassed but it didn't mean she didn't like it because she soon started to drift off to sleep "why do you always wear woman's perfume" he asked sleepily "I don't and even if I did I wouldn't put it on at night" he said knowing fully that she was asking this question not fully conscious "then why do you always smell like daisies and dandelions?" Xander smiled at her question while gabby who was almost asleep subconsciously wrapped her arms around his waist "maybe it's because we are meant to be" he said knowing that she was almost asleep, gabby just gave a faint OK sound and tightened her grip on his waist, Xander pulled her closer, kissed her forehead and fell asleep too.
After about two hours Xander's eyes snapped open and his eyes were completely red and at that time all he could think about was..... Blood.
