The hunters emerged from the other side of the dungeon after successfully stepping through. As mentioned before, active dungeons acted differently from normal or dormant dungeons. Instead of a door you can simply walk through in a dormant dungeon, active dungeons had portals.
On top of that, the time difference was significantly different in active dungeons. In a dormant dungeon, 1 hour was equivalent to 4 hours in the real world. In an active dungeon, 1 hour in the real world is equivalent to 2-3 days in a dungeon, depending on the ranking of the dungeon.
The active dungeon that Hunter and the others had no exception to time. Unlike dormant dungeons though, one could spend as much time as they wanted in the active dungeon if the dungeon master hasn't been killed yet.
