Anne and Charlie arrived on site. They stepped out of the car and walked towards Velma, who wore a worried expression on her face. "I'll talk to the lady. You consult the officers," said Charlie as she reached into her pocket pants.
"Yes ma'am," Anne replied as she smiled gently.
Charlie approached Velma and stood next to her as she looked at the black portal before her. She turned her attention to Velma, introduced herself and asked her to explain what had happened.
"I don't know what happened... The gate was green when they entered. But, as soon as the last hunter when in, it turned black," replied Velma. "I was supposed to go in with them, but before I could even step inside..."
"Looks like the gate raised its mana waves. It's a rare occurrence, so not even the investigation force or organisations know a lot about gate changes," said Charlie.
