"Yufei, what's wrong?"
Su Qian'er asked with concern when she noticed Chen Yufei's expression was off.
"There's an issue at the company, Qian'er, can you look after Mo Mo for me? I need to go back and handle it."

Currently, the chairman of Wan Hao Group, Shen Wanhao, was demanding that Chen Yufei draft a new patent usage contract upon expiration and had made it clear that he wanted to increase the patent usage fees.
This was the reason Chen Yufei had hurried back to the company.
After arriving at the company, Chen Yufei met with her secretary Xiao Ya.
"Director Chen, Wan Hao Group is demanding that a new patent usage contract be drafted and submitted within twenty-four hours. Moreover, they want the patent usage fees prepared for three years," Xiao Ya reported while following Chen Yufei to the conference room.
"What exactly are Wan Hao Group's demands? How much do they want to increase the patent fees by? Are all the executives gathered?" Chen Yufei asked in rapid succession.
These were the urgent questions she needed to understand.
"Wan Hao Group requires our company to choose only them for the patent cooperation and they want to increase the patent fees by thirty percent. All the executives are here, waiting in the conference room! Two major shareholders have arrived too," Xiao Ya responded to each question.
Upon hearing this answer, Chen Yufei immediately stopped in her tracks, "What did you say? Increase by thirty percent?"
Currently, Moyu Biotech has to pay sixty million annually in patent fees to Wan Hao Group for their patent cooperation. Now, with Wan Hao Group demanding exclusivity in using their patents, the fee would be at least one hundred and twenty million per year. An increase of thirty percent would mean at least one hundred and fifty-six million annually. Moreover, they were demanding the payment of the patent fees for three years in one lump sum.
This sum would be nearly five hundred million. Chen Yufei simply couldn't come up with this amount of money right now.
Shen Wanhao's actions were undoubtedly aimed at forcing Chen Yufei to cancel the cooperation.
Yet doing so would also cause great loss to Moyu Biotech.
"President Chen, Wan Hao Group is putting us in a difficult position," Xiao Ya could see that Wan Hao Group was targeting Moyu Company.
"Let's discuss it in the meeting."
Chen Yufei strode into the conference room, but she knew in her heart that even a meeting would be of little use.
The company's executives could not come up with any solutions. At most, they would advise her to seek help from the Zhang Family to resolve the trouble.
"President Chen is here, everybody stop discussing," someone said as she arrived.

The crowd exchanged looks, but no one stood up.
After a few seconds of silence, someone finally spoke up, "President Chen, I think the best course of action is to ask for help from the Zhang Family. The Zhang Family has always been very resourceful in biotechnology and biomedicine. Furthermore, they are partners with Wan Hao Group."
The speaker was the company's second largest shareholder, Zheng Shifu, who was fifty-six years old. In the board of directors, he mainly caused trouble for Chen Yufei and did little else of benefit.
Chen Yufei chose to ignore Zheng Shifu's suggestion.
"Does anyone else have any suggestions?"
"President Chen, this is the best solution we have now. If we don't do this, the company is finished," Zheng Shifu insisted.
"Yes, President Chen, this really is the best solution."
"That's right, President Chen, we are aware of the difficulties you're facing right now, so this is also for your consideration," others chimed in.
Chen Yufei felt helpless seeing the others join in the clamor. It was disappointing that the executives couldn't come up with a single constructive suggestion at this critical moment.
