Upon entering the room,Alex found Annika wearing her glasses, immersed in her cell phone. Surprised, he approached her, captivated by her concentration. Annika, sensing his presence, spoke sharply, her annoyance evident.
"You're disrupting my reading. I need to finish my novel. If you must, go and spend time with Soniya by this Alex said if l and her were married, definelty we would be having fun in the bed.
Ignoring his comment, Annika remained fixed on her phone, prompting Alex to question her sudden interest in his personal life. As he took her phone, Annika demanded its return. Upon seeing her reading a romance novel, Alex reacted with disbelief.
"Oh my god, you're reading romance novels now ? The irony of it all," he remarked, his shock apparent. Annika, unfazed, moved closer to him as he stood near the bed, insisting on getting her phone back. In her attempt to retrieve it, she accidentally slipped, causing her to fall on top of Alex.
In that moment of unexpected closeness, their eyes met, conveying a mixture of emotions. Alex gently brushed the hair from Annika's face, a silent exchange passing between them.
After a brief pause, Annika reclaimed her phone, giving Alex a piercing stare before retreating to thr bed to resume her reading, leaving behind an air of unresolved tension.
