Takamura smiled "He put his guard up and came to the match, but he's still unconscious, what great determination"
Takamura shouted "THE WINNER IS IPPO"

"Good job newcomer"
"Awesome match"
The coach walked next to Ippo. "You did great, but it's not enough. You got to hit a lot, and your strategy almost went bad. I can only say that the basics are still not there. Tomorrow…"
Ippo just slid down and sat on the canvas, he was not unconscious but he was dizzy from the last blow.
Kamogawa coughed and went to the corner.
"Ah… he ran out of strength"
"Boss was giving a speech"
The coach grunted "Kid recover and get out, it's time for the second match"
Sora looked at the coach "But Ichiro is not in condition to continue fighting!"
The coach smiled evilly "I never said that you would fight Miyata"
Sora gulped and saw Takamura putting his clothes away. He felt chills. "Coach it's impossible I can't fight Takamura"
The coach hit him "Idiot, of course, you won't fight him, Kimura is going to be your match this time, you haven't fought with him, so let's see how you manage him"
Sora sighed with relief.
Kamogawa pushed him "Now hurry, I'll be the referee, Takamura can be your second"
"Got it!" Sora put his shirt away, put the bandages, and then the gloves.
Ichiro recovered and he was in Sora's corner.
Fujii was interviewing Ippo and he called Ichiro for some comments too.

First Round
Kimura put on his gloves and with a smile told Sora "This is the first time we get to have a spar, be careful of the speed"
Sora looked at him and nodded "Take care of me"
Takamura laughed "He's a small fry, just punch him harder"
Kamogawa intervened "Kid! You have a weight advantage, but both of you are the same height, you need to keep losing pounds, but fighting a Pro is not easy, let this be a lesson"
Sora nodded "Yes coach", and put on his mouthpiece.
"BOX"
Kimura smiled and put his guard up, Sora started the offensive, he shot two lefts but they were easily dodged, Kimura didn't wait for his to continue his attack, he also hit two lefts, Sora dodged but they were nearer than the ones he threw.
Sora made some distance and went for a high-low combination, he put his foot on the side and threw left to the head and the body, but Kimura started moving his waist and kept on dodging the punch, after the seventh left, Kimura blocked one and hit a left, Sora blocked too and separated.
Kimura danced circling Sora, he increased the pace hitting a barrage of left hitting the body and the guard of Sora.
Sora blocked and went to Kimura's zone, he started with a left hook making him duck under the punch, and then followed with a chopping right, but it was also dodged, after the right Sora moved his front leg and put his weight into a left hook to the side. Kimura couldn't dodge that one and tightening his stomach received the punch, and he threw two lefts to Sora's head, he blocked the first, and his head moved with the second blow.
Sora didn't mind the punch and went for a second body blow, but Kimura already put his guard and blocked with dexterity his punch.
Sora took a backstep 'I guess I also need to raise the tempo' he dashed and with a pushing left, he blew Kimura's guard.
Kimura didn't panic, instead, he received Sora with a right blow to the body. He made a 'ku' face, opening his mouth, he stopped moving, Kimura took advantage of the moment and shot a left with a wide stance.
Sora smiled the perfect bait was prepared for that, he blocked the left with his right arm punching the inside of the elbow, he perfectly stopped his punch, and he followed with a left upper but instead of looking for the head, he punched the plexus.
BAM!
Kimura held his stomach and jumped backward, "Great punch". He recovered his stance and went into the offensive.
Dodged a left, then a right, and he punched his ease to the head and the body. Sora kept on blocking or dodging, no clean hit went past his defense, Kimura changed tactics and threw some body blows, to move Sora's hands.
Still, Sora blocked the attempts. After some seconds of Kimura's offensive, he retreated to defense once again, and Sora used that moment to attack, he shot a long and fast combination.
Left, Left, Right, Left hook, Right upper, dodge to the center, body blow to the right, move the arm to the back, and a second right to the head.
Kimura dodged everything and blocked the last blow to his side, he opened his eyes in alarm, to the right to the face, and tried to dodge but was hit.
Sora smiled and continued the combination, but was stopped by a left to his chin, he barely put his glove in between, with the pace interrupted he sidestepped but Kimura was already on his toes, his opponent shot three fast lefts, the first hit his glove, the second his cheek and the third one moved his head to the ceiling, when trying to block another hit, a right floored him.
The coach calmly said "Down, go to the neutral corner"
One… Sora was not badly hurt… Two… he exhaled and controlled his breathing… Five… Sora stood up and cracked his neck. "I'm ready"
Kamogawa smiled "Box"
"You're good Tsuyoshi-kun" Kimura teased him.
Sora put his stance up and looked at him "Call me Sora, I don't like honorifics"
"Make me" Kimura smiled
Sora smiled too "Right on!" he moved slowly to the fight zone, and when he reached his arm reach, he shot some lefts, that Kimura started to dodge, but these lefts were slower than normal.
Sora changed the pace of the lefts and threw some faster and some slower. The change-up took Kimura by surprise. His rhythm was disrupted, and he didn't see the right in between the barrage of lefts. He was punched hard and took one step back. Sora followed with a one-two, hitting Kimura cleanly. He clenched his fist and threw a right with all his strength, but someone tackled him.
"STOP, the bell rang!" Sora, breathing heavily, looked at Kimura. The coach held him and pushed him lightly to the corner.
Takamura was not a good corner he kept making fun of Kimura and Sora.
In the other corner Shinoda talked with Kimura "So how's everything?"
Kimura took a breath, "Maaan… He's tough that at the end took me by surprise, he doesn't seem like a total rookie, but still the pro ring is not easy, I'll imprint that in his body"
Shinoda wiped Kimura's sweat "Go for it!"
Second Round
Sora put his guard with his left foot at the front, he invited Kimura to an infight, but he just paced at a distance.
The round started with a left from Kimura, which barely touched Sora's head, He responded with a left straight, then a left hook, and a right elevated smash.
Kimura just backstepped and dodged everything.
Sora clenched his jaw 'Damn, I can't even touch his glove, how come, he feels faster than the people I fought in the pro ring in my past life, why?'
Kimura dashed with his right to the side and punched three times with his left, Sora received the first one with his glove, the second he moved his head to the side but he was punched still, and the third one pushed him back, Kimura then threw a right body blow, it connected with Sora's side, he started favoring that side.
Sora coughed a bit and circled Kimura to recover from those hits, he was trying to maintain a good rhythm but Kimura was making a hit-and-run tactic and it was working.
Left, Left, right, One-two. Sora got hit by the right.
Left, dodge, feint, left upper. Sora received the upper.
Left, right, Left, right, Right. Sora couldn't block the last one.
Bit by bit, Kimura put some damage to Sora.
Sora didn't keep on the receiving end, he also made some attacks.
A good one-two was placed in between the lefts of Kimura, he also smashed his opponent's head with a good-timed right, and he managed to get four lefts in a row alternating between the body and his face.
The second bell rang.
"To your corners"
Fujii was writing something and commented "The kid is good, Kimura is not taking it easy and he didn't get a down this round"
Kitadake his helper was smiling "He's doing a good job, I don't think anyone with three months could fight like that, this is different than the first one"
Fujii moved his hand to his cigarettes but remembered that he couldn't smoke here "Yeah, the first match was more of a fight of almost pros, but Kimura has been in the pro ring for almost half a year already, his fight with Kanzaki Shinji and a loss on his second match, he knows how hard it is"
"So he's teaching?" Kitadake wondered
Fujii shook his head "No, teaching would be if he was helping, Kimura's serious!"
Ichiro was holding his head with his arm looking at the match from the side of the ring "I have fought with Kimura, but he never tried that hard"
Ippo was nervous but managed to talk with him "Do you think Sora can win?"
Ichiro was annoyed but answered "No he won't win, but he also wouldn't lose"
Ippo made a confused face "What do you mean?"
Ichiro turned his head "He won't go down by a knockout, Kimura doesn't have the strength!"
Ippo was relieved but he focused his eyes on his friend "I believe he can win"
"I wonder…" Ichiro said.
In the corner, Takamura was silent and tried to massage the shoulders of Sora but he only hurt him.
"Please stop, Takamura" Sora closed one eye.
Takamura was annoyed "Are you chickening out, why you didn't hit him more?"
Sora took a deep breath and exhaled "There's still two rounds and I haven't thrown my secret move"
Takamura was smiling "Oh! What secret move?"
Sora grinned "If I can hit it, I'll tell you the name"
Takamura frowned and hit the back of his head. "Idiot! Tell me now"
Sora was angry and shouted, "Hey you are my corner don't hit me!"
Kamogawa sighed 'Putting Takamura there was a mistake' he saw the timer and called for the boxers.
"BOX"
The third round started…

I hope you all have a great return to school or work, Today is my final day of vacation.
The schedule for chapters will be. Mon-Wed-Fri 3 chapters a week, and If I get more than 50 power stones by Friday I will work on an extra chapter for the weekend.
So New chapter tomorrow.
