We started practicing spellcasting to heal minor wounds. The girls learned quickly how to cast light spells and detect living people, and fortunately, I did not have the means to teach them how to detect the undead. This is a matter that I will need to discuss later on with Asclepius to capture or be authorized to create a few weak undead from animals to train priests.
This was an inconsistency that Jel pointed out during the day: how could we prepare ourselves to rebuke the undead if they are different beings? I explained to them that using the detect living spell would produce a disgusting feeling. Matila was satisfied with my explanation, while Jel wasn't. I couldn't blame her for this; her hunting experience makes her think that practical experience is much more important than theoretical.
