"hey kid, what's your name?" Mt Lady asked after becoming the size of a normal human being. "my name is Kaneki Nagisa". "well if you ever need a hero internship, don't look elsewhere" Kamui said giving a visiting card. "that was incredible power you have there young Nagisa," beamed All might "but now is not the time to celebrate, we need to take care of the monster corpse".
I shrugged "I didn't sign up for this so, adios" I teleported from there, I saw Mt Lady saying some similar thing and escaping the spot while Kamui and All Might helped to clear the destroyed monsters.
I went towards Momo and Midoriya, "You were awesome, what QUIRK was that you used? I have never seen such quirk before." Said Midoriya still on the ground. while Momo looked at me seriously, "We need to talk about a lot of things" I could hear that she was mad because I had such cool power while she didn't. "I can understand your concern, first let's help this guy to get some medical aid. shall we" I said carrying him and her in both arms.
We reached the nearby hospital; the hospital was filled with stretchers carrying patients who were affected by the recent incident. I sent Midorya to the ICU department and gave All Might's number to the nurse for guardian number. I had his number because my mom gave me that.
"he looked beaten badly, do you think he will be all right," Momo asked, I shrugged "Probably, yes. From what I can hear It's not his first time getting injured like this". Momo sighed "he told me that it's a side effect of his quirk, some kind of recoil I think", I nodded "Maybe".
Both of us then walked out of the hospital as we watched Best Jeanist helped in creating new stretchers. "don't you think this is the best time to tell me about your quirk or whatever it was" asked Momo, I shook my head "tonight come to my home, I will explain my quirk there. This is not a safe place to speak about such things." Momo gave an understanding nod "All right, but you better tell me everything".
I took a taxi to my home after that. it was late evening so my parents were in the home, talking about the recent incident.
"I heard that not just Japan but even the USA had a portal, they are glad that the hero Star and Stripe were there at the time if not they might have had many causalities." Said my mother looking at the news report. My father nodded "Anyhow this incident is considered a calamity so our company doesn't need to worry about it" he said chuckling, my mother gave him a serious stare "That's awful dear".
I was sitting on the couch eating ramen and watching the news as well, I've never heard of the hero named Star and Stripe so I was out of the loop.
"wait, is that Kaneki?" I heard my mom say, I was distracted in eating my ramen. When I looked up I saw myself on the screen controlling the monsters and closing the portal. "we don't know the name of the Pro hero, and he also helped in killing the enemy monsters. It is reassuring to know that our country has powerful heroes like him. Could it be the next generation of All Might in action?" Said the news reporter. I coughed my ramen out. "Momo you idiot" I muttered; I am not worried about the spotlight but what I am worried about is the unwanted attention from the spotlight.
Right on cue, the doorbell rang "I asked her to come at night, but it's all right. I need to teach her a lesson" I said and walked to the door.
To my surprise, Momo was with three more people the first one looked like a squid in a well-fit suit, the next one looked more like a space warrior like Thor and the last one looked like a nerd with pimples and specs. I don't know if these people were Momo's relatives, "Come in, and don't think I am rude. Can you tell me who they are" I said pointing the three people. Momo came close to my ears "They looked at the video from the news and wanted to talk to you about it" she whispered.
"if that's the case then please come in," I said looking at them, they looked to be people from high authority so these people may be sent by the higher-ups like the Public Safety Commission.
My mother looked at them and looked at me "Who are they dear," she asked. "they are here to interrogate I suppose, make some tea Mom" I said and guided them to a couch. My father looked nervously while Momo looked proudly, my mother on the other hand was sceptical about the whole situation.
"Before we ask you any question, we need to tell you that we are from the CIA and not from the PSCJ [Public Safety Commission of Japan]. So you don't need to worry about any legal issues," he said. I've never heard of the CIA, maybe that's something like PSCJ I don't know.
"wait, you are from the CIA, what are you doing here? I thought you must be some higher-up from our country. Also, how did you manage to come here this fast." rushed Momo. The squid guy stayed calm and replied "The ability to teleport is quite rare, but that doesn't mean that we don't have one" he said pointing to the nerd guy. I see, these guys here to recruit me. Not bad if they give me and my parents a good offer I may drop this place and go with them. I am not attached to this place anyway.
"so let me start with an introduction, my name is Timothy Agpar and these two are Ethan Drive and Parker Lancer. We are from America, and I work as a commander while these two are my comrades," he said.
