Chapter 40 - Special Building

Unique or special buildings correspond to one's talents, and they are always created based on the individual's innate abilities. Given William's extraordinary gifts—Peak Supreme and Peak Divine Talents—he had been eagerly anticipating what his special building might be. However, as he stood before the structure, confusion crossed his face.

The building that had materialized was a massive pyramid, reminiscent of the ancient structures from Egypt in his previous life. It was an odd sight, as William had not expected something so tied to his past world. The only notable difference was the immense eye at the peak of the pyramid. The eye, crafted from a golden metal, shimmered with an ethereal glow, appearing as though it were made of gold but somehow more durable, as normal gold would have melted under the immense pressure of the world's magical energies.

William shook his head, dismissing his earlier confusion. "Maybe it just looks similar," he thought as he approached the pyramid. Special buildings were known to produce unique resources that corresponded to one's talent, and William was curious to discover what this structure would offer him.

As he placed his hand on the golden walls, which were adorned with deep impressions of runes, he closed his eyes, attempting to connect with the building. Almost instantly, the pyramid hummed to life, glowing faintly as it began to draw in demonic energy from the surrounding environment. The building processed the energy, and soon, an opening formed in the wall.

From the opening, two items emerged. One was a vial filled with shimmering sand, the other, a round, misty grey bead.

"'Sands of Time' and a 'Decayer Core,'" William mumbled, recognizing the items in his hands. These were the first-level resources his special building produced, aligning perfectly with his Peak Supreme and Peak Divine Talents.

Each item held immense value: the 'Sands of Time' could be used for temporal manipulation, while the 'Decayer Core' seemed to hold power over entropy and destruction.

William examined the vial of shimmering sand and the misty grey bead with a glint of interest in his eyes. The "Sands of Time" flowed like liquid light within the vial, each grain holding the potential to manipulate the very fabric of time. Meanwhile, the "Decayer Core" pulsed faintly in his hand, a tangible manifestation of entropy, capable of decaying anything it touched.

"These will be useful," William muttered to himself, his mind already racing with the possibilities. His talents aligned perfectly with the resources produced by the pyramid, but what intrigued him most was the sheer versatility these items offered. With time manipulation at his armies fingertips and the power of decay in his grasp, his options for battle, strategy, and even crafting were limitless.

After all these things can be given to his people the one he will summon he can arm them with these special resources and make his army formidable.

Just as he was about to pocket the items, the pyramid shimmered again, drawing his attention back. The runes along its golden surface shifted, revealing more intricate patterns. William could feel the building wasn't done yet; there was more to this special structure than he initially realized.

[This is just the beginning,] Sera's voice echoed in his mind. [The pyramid will evolve, just like you. As you grow stronger, so will its potential.]

William nodded, his gaze fixed on the massive structure. "I wonder what else it will give me," he thought, already envisioning future resources that could be even more powerful. The Special Building, unlike others, wasn't static. It adapted, much like his talents, growing alongside him to produce increasingly rare and potent materials.

Turning away from the pyramid, William set his eyes on the manor and the altar nearby. The manor, formed from the purified demonic energy, would serve as his new base within this territory, while the altar of sacrifice would allow him to summon powerful servants and heroes. The land, once corrupted and barren, was now teeming with potential.

The demonic regions had completely transformed. From the dead swamp that once poisoned the land, a crystal-clear lake now sparkled under the sunlight. The twisted, decaying forests had given way to lush greenery, their vibrant colors painting the horizon. The jagged, crumbling mountains were now majestic peaks, covered in rich, green foliage. The air, once heavy with the scent of rot, was crisp and fresh, filled with life.

Everything had changed, and this territory was now fully under William's control. He felt a surge of satisfaction as he stood at the center of it all, his gaze sweeping over the landscape that he had reshaped. His domain was growing, and with it, so was his power.

"Time to build an army worthy of this land," William whispered, his voice filled with anticipation and childish excitement.

William approached the altar with anticipation, dragging the demon bodies onto its surface. The moment the corpses were placed, a translucent interface appeared before him, glowing softly with lines of text. It was a familiar sight, reminiscent of the summoning systems from his past life, yet more advanced and mystical in this world.

The screen flickered before stabilizing.

[Processing... complete.]

A list of options appeared, each one offering a different type of summon:

[You can use the following features:]

Common Summon

Uncommon Summon

Rare Summon

Locked

...

...

Hero Summon (Common, Uncommon, Rare)

William's eyes scanned the options with intrigue. His fingers hovered over the interface, weighing his next move carefully. The allure of summoning rare creatures or heroes was tempting, but he knew better than to rush. The resources he had collected were precious, and he needed to ensure the best possible outcome.

"The Hero Summon..." he murmured, considering it. Heroes were powerful entities, far above ordinary summons, and could serve as key allies in his future conquests. However, using the bodies of these low-level demons might not yield the strongest results, especially if he aimed for something rare or valuable.

'I don't know when I will be able to advance my Territory to next grade, so it will be better to just get rare Summons." William mumbled to himself,
