Chapter 33 - Co-create

As the song concluded, Louis took a deep breath, calming his emotions before standing up and leaving the recording studio.

Outside, a group of people stood in awe, their gazes fixed on him. In the next moment, everyone couldn't help but applaud Louis. Grandpa Bailey, even more excited, stepped forward and shook Louis's hand, his eyes filled with warmth.

"Liam! That's the feeling! I think we don't need to change the lead singer. It should be you!" he exclaimed. "I have a feeling that this song will stir up a storm of attention online about ordinary heroes! This is exactly the effect we want to see! Those silent heroes deserve it!"

Hearing Grandpa's praise, even Louis, who had seen much, couldn't help but blush. But he shook his head, earnestly saying, "Grandpa, I won't be the lead singer! I have a better idea. Will you listen?"

Huh? A better lead singer than the songwriter himself?

There were plenty of good singers out there, but he believed no one could understand the meaning of this song better than himself.

Seeing Grandpa's obvious reluctance, Louis didn't beat around the bush. He quickly explained his idea.

"Here's the thing, Grandpa. I think this song is more suitable for children to sing. On one hand, children's voices are clearer and more ethereal. On the other hand, having the country's little flowers sing about the nameless heroes will resonate more deeply."

Hearing Louis's explanation, Grandpa widened his eyes in astonishment.

Oh my! This guy is a genius! Why didn't I think of that? Children themselves naturally possess an endearing quality. With them singing and combined with the footage I've shot, it'll definitely strike a chord!

Absolutely brilliant! No wonder I singled him out!

With renewed enthusiasm, Grandpa's gaze became even more eager. Even the middle-aged people behind him seemed to have sudden realizations and looked at Louis in disbelief.

They had been struggling to select a lead singer from among countless candidates but couldn't decide. Unexpectedly, Louis solved the problem with just a few words!

"Liam! You're truly a talent! Are you interested in working with us? Rest assured, your talent won't be wasted here!"

Grandpa's heart was set on nurturing this talent. He wanted to bring Louis on board. Talent like his was too precious to be left outside!

"No, no, no! Grandpa, I'm just a small fry. I'm already grateful to be able to help you this time!" Louis waved his hands repeatedly, refusing. Come on! He knew his own worth. He was just providing suggestions standing on the shoulders of giants.

But he didn't insist. Anyway, Louis was here, and he couldn't run away. If there were opportunities for cooperation in the future, he would find him again!

"Alright! Everyone has their own aspirations. Xiao Louis, you must contribute more this time! We'll talk about cooperation opportunities in the future!"

"Come with me. Let's take a look at our footage first. See if you have any good ideas for these materials!" Grandpa beckoned to Louis, leading him to another studio. This was where they edited the footage. All the materials would be carefully selected and edited into the MV for this campaign.

Upon entering the room, the middlemen started to introduce excitedly. Louis looked at the computer screen in front of him, where various shots flickered, each featuring the nameless heroes.

Louis was stunned. He didn't expect to see so much footage, and even more disheartening was the realization that many of these shots would end up being discarded. It saddened him because he believed that every person in these materials deserved respect and recognition from society.

Seeing Louis's reaction, Grandpa patted his shoulder.

"Liam, don't be upset. It's their duty. Besides, nobody will remember any of them in this promotional video. They represent a group. As long as everyone can be grateful for these groups of people, silently remembering these lovely souls, it's enough."

"Come to think of it, they should thank you. This song, 'Only Ordinary,' not only suits the taste of most young people today but also promotes these positive energies. We old folks can't make a song suitable for young people, but we're afraid everyone will forget about them. That's why we thought of soliciting songs."

Grandpa sighed, then smiled at Louis.

"Fortunately, you've produced exactly what we wanted, allowing me to see the fervent hearts of contemporary youth. That's excellent!" Louis looked at Grandpa Bailey, then glanced at the people constantly flashing on the screen. He was truly touched by them. Indeed, in any world, there are such lovely people.

"Grandpa, I don't have any of these materials, and as for video production, I'm not an expert in this field. We still need you and others to complete it," Louis said sincerely. He believed that with the involvement of this group of people, the finished video would definitely resonate more deeply than in the original world.

"Alright, alright! We'll make it as soon as possible. By the end of July at the latest, this wave will sweep through every street and alley!" Grandpa Bailey nodded cheerfully upon hearing Louis's words.

"Oh, by the way, the girl said you also have a TikTok account, right? With thousands of followers? And you've released two songs? When this promotional video is released, let's collaborate on your TikTok account too! After all, you're also a key player in this video!" Grandpa added.

Louis was dumbfounded. How come it involved him too? He thought he'd just have his name in the songwriting credits, but now even TikTok collaboration was mentioned. Clearly, Grandpa Bailey held him in high regard!

Louis naturally wouldn't refuse. Besides, he felt even more grateful to Grandpa Bailey.

"Well then, thank you, Grandpa!" Louis thanked Grandpa sincerely.

Grandpa waved his hand, indicating that it was well-deserved.

With that topic concluded, the people in the room began discussing the details of the follow-up work. This involved many professional knowledge areas, and Louis didn't say much, just listened quietly.

When Louis walked out of the Huayin Building, it was already 1 p.m. His head was swollen with information. When those folks talked about work, they were all so enthusiastic, almost like workaholics.

Finally, it was Bailey who pouted and said she wanted to have lunch, allowing the two of them to escape. Originally, Louis wanted Louis to join everyone for lunch in the Huayin cafeteria and continue the discussion in the afternoon. However, Louis used the excuse of having an empty brain to get away.

He couldn't insert himself into those professional discussions, so there was no need for him to stay any longer.

Walking out of Huayin side by side, the weather that was fine when they arrived now started to drizzle.

"Louis! Shouldn't you treat me to a meal? We're collaborating with Huayin! We're going to get rich!" The two walked towards the car in the light rain, and Bailey, rarely playful, stuck out her tongue and teased.

This lady, who used to be so mature, was becoming more and more playful!

Louis raised an eyebrow. "You, with your big family and big business, still want to trick me, a commoner? Shame on you!"
