Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: Rich Rewards

Chen Yu was not Noah himself.

He simply received Noah's approval, revived Noah's statue, and battled with Belial.

After all, due to the deviation in the world's trajectory, Zero had lost his energy and would not encounter Noah again, hence missing out on the numerous adventures with Ran, Koji, and Princess Emerana.

In this universe, Noah Ultraman intended to find someone who could represent him and tackle the disaster at hand.

Chen Yu was the chosen one.

In essence, Chen Yu had temporarily become the suitable bearer of Noah Ultraman.

With Belial eliminated, the hidden cosmic warships ready to counterattack began to round up the remnants of the Galactic Empire's forces.

Seeing another war of cleanup beginning in the universe, Chen Yu said to Zero, "This is not the place to talk. Come with me to the Mirror Planet."

"Mirror Planet? Okay!"

Although unaware of where the Mirror Planet was, Zero was eager to converse with the powerful Ultraman who defeated Belial in a single move and learn from his combat experience.

Their flight was swift, and soon they arrived in front of the Mirror Planet's reflective surface.

This time, the mirror directly displayed starlight runes, admitting Chen Yu and Zero together.

Ran, Koji, and Princess Emerana were waiting on the ocean-ripple-like ground for Chen Yu's return.

Everyone had witnessed Chen Yu and Zero's battle through the reflections on the Mirror Planet's surface.

It was safe to say that Noah Ultraman's mighty power exceeded everyone's expectations.

"I'm back."

Gently landing on the ground, creating a ripple, Chen Yu looked down at the three and said.

Zero landed beside Chen Yu, saw Ran and others, and then said, "So they are your companions. That means you're an Ultraman warrior originally from this universe, right?"

"Not exactly."

Chen Yu spoke, channeling a vast amount of energy into Zero's bracelet.

Immediately, the three crystals on Zero's bracelet, previously dimmed, all lit up brightly.

Clearly, Zero's energy had been fully replenished.

"Thank you so much!"

Seeing this, Zero quickly thanked Chen Yu.

Without this light energy, Zero had no idea how he would leave this dimensional universe and return to his original universe.

"You're welcome," Chen Yu said. "Conserve energy. Let's revert to our human forms to talk."

Saying so, Chen Yu transformed back into his human form in a dissipating glow of light particles and landed on the ground.

After a brief check, Chen Yu noticed he did not have the Evolution Trust device on him, indicating his entrance into Noah's statue was somewhat forced.

Seeing Chen Yu revert to human form, Zero also felt that appearing in this dimensional universe in transformed state was too energy-consuming and transformed back, landing on the ground in a flash of light.

A young and handsome man emerged from the light.

Chen Yu was slightly startled; the handsome man before him looked a lot like Tsuburaya, but much younger and more handsome.

"The light of Noah seems to have disappeared from you," Zero approached, examined Chen Yu, and then said, "You can no longer transform into Noah Ultraman, can you?"

"Perhaps," Chen Yu exhaled and said, "But I believe everyone has the power to become light on their own."

"Everyone can become light with their own strength…"

This statement struck a chord with Zero, feeling somewhat philosophical.

After all, during his training, Zero was constantly taking hits and had no time to learn various humanistic truths.

Leo wouldn't teach these things either.

Ran and others behind him also pondered upon hearing this.

Can everyone really become light on their own?

What exactly is light?

Before meeting Chen Yu and knowing about the Giants of Light, they only considered light as a daily necessity.

Little did they know, light also had the power to save the world.

"That's a good point," Zero smiled and said, "Would you be interested in going to the Land of Light with me?"

"What would I do in the Land of Light?" Chen Yu wondered.

"The Plasma Spark in the Land of Light can evolve your body into a new Ultraman warrior," Zero said. "Also, I can recommend you to my father to join the Space Garrison of the Land of Light."

"There's no need for that," Chen Yu waved his hand and said, "Thanks for your kind offer. Actually, I can still transform, just not into Noah."

"Hmm?" Zero was surprised but didn't press further, "In that case, I respect your wishes."

As they conversed, Chen Yu remembered his Light Staff and the Light Genetic Converter were still underground, so he asked the mirror snowflakes to take him down to retrieve them.

The mirror snowflakes agreed and directly transported Chen Yu down.

Back in the dilapidated underground temple, the statues of Noah Ultraman and the Shield of Parajium had disappeared, leaving an empty space.

Chen Yu pulled the Light Staff from the Light Genetic Converter and tucked it away.

He also stored the Light Genetic Converter in his storage space and then called out to a crystal growing from the soil.

The crystal's mirror surface flickered, instantly transporting Chen Yu back to the surface.

This mirror world was truly magical, its mysteries unfathomable.

"This Noah, not only did he not give me the Evolution Trust device, he didn't even leave the Shield of Parajium, how stingy!"

Walking back to Zero and others, Chen Yu complained.

In the original storyline, Noah directly gave Zero the Shield of Parajium!

How come it became a one-time use for me?

However, though Noah didn't give Chen Yu any benefits, completing the mission brought Chen Yu rich rewards.

Checking the mission completion messages in his mind, Chen Yu's face lit up with joy.

[Sub-mission 1 completed! Reward: Darklops Zero Summon Card ×20!]

[Sub-mission 2 completed! Reward: Infinite Emerium Stone Energy!]

[All sub-missions completed. Would you like to leave the instance world?]

Chen Yu ignored the last prompt to leave and checked what Infinite Emerium Stone Energy was.

After reviewing the description, Chen Yu understood that although the Emerium Stone Energy was infinite, it had certain limitations.

That is, the infinite stone energy could produce 240 kilograms of Emerium stone every 24 hours.

It wasn't an endless supply of energy right from the start.
