Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Shift Change

Moroboshi was initially wary, but upon recognizing a familiar face among the giant human figures, his guard was instantly lowered.

Yullian!

As one of Ultraman Ace's human hosts, the Ultra Brothers were aware of Yullian's lunar origins.

"If only I had thought of seeking Yullian's help on the moon earlier," Moroboshi realized belatedly, admitting to his single-minded approach.

Although Mac's combat effectiveness was questionable, they indeed had the capability to explore outer space, given their base's constant orbit above Earth.

Yullian also noticed Moroboshi and nodded in acknowledgment.

Just then, several streaks of light appeared in the sky, and the Ultra Brothers arrived belatedly, descending onto the beach. They were Zoffy, Ultraman, Jack, and Ace.

"Seven, you're injured!" Jack, particularly concerned, addressed Seven.

Seeing his Ultra Brothers, Seven felt a wave of relief and joy, managing a smile, "It's nothing serious, just a broken leg."

"That's not a minor injury," Zoffy remarked, looking at Moroboshi, "After this battle, come back with us to the Land of Light for treatment."

"Um... the battle is already over," Moroboshi awkwardly mentioned.

Only then did the Ultra Brothers notice Yullian and her lunar warriors.

Ace was the most excited, rushing over to grab Yullian's hand, eagerly saying, "Yullian! It's me, Hokuto! Do you remember?"

Indeed, although Hokuto Seiji was Ace's human host, he and Ace had become forever bound together at the end of the series, with Hokuto returning to the Land of Light alongside Ace.

"It's been so long since I last saw you, Hokuto," Yullian said, moved to tears by the reunion. While she sometimes greeted the Ultra Brothers who came to protect Earth, she hadn't seen Hokuto since they parted ways.

The deep connection between Hokuto and Yullian touched everyone, especially Moroboshi, who was reminded of Anne...

"Seven, was it you who sent out the Ultra Sign?" Ultraman asked, puzzled. The signal seen from the Land of Light was indeed Seven's, but it wasn't powered by his energy.

"Moroboshi taught me how to release it," Chen Yu stepped forward to explain, "because I didn't know how to create an Ultra Sign."

"Ah, I see... And you are?" Ultraman's gaze fell on Chen Yu, the silver, purple, and red Ultraman, a rare sight for the Ultra Brothers at this point in time.

"My name is Chen Yu, a human from Earth," Chen Yu responded, "Also, the Ultra Warrior I transform into is called Ultraman Tiga."

"Thank you, Tiga," Ultraman extended his hand in gratitude. "If it weren't for you, Earth might have been conquered by the invaders."

Chen Yu shook hands with Ultraman, adding, "The main force that defeated the invaders were the warriors from the moon. Yullian played a crucial role."

With everyone back to their human sizes, and the Ultra Brothers reverted to their human forms, Hokuto and Yullian's hands remained tightly intertwined, drawing envious glances from the lunar warriors.

As Ultraman, now in the form of Hayata Shin, and Jack, reverted to Hideki Goh, discussed Moroboshi's injury, they agreed on the need for his swift recovery to continue protecting Earth.

With the Magma Alien leader and his army defeated, Chen Yu awaited the mission completion notification, which didn't arrive due to the incomplete task of "saving Seven."

Realizing that Moroboshi's healing was key to completing the mission, they discussed the need for someone from the Ultra Brothers to stay on Earth in Moroboshi's stead.

Hokuto, motivated by his love for Earth and proximity to Yullian, volunteered to replace Moroboshi until his leg healed, suggesting a future rotation among the Ultra Brothers to maintain Earth's protection.

Moroboshi, though dismayed by the personnel change, accepted the decision, acknowledging the importance of continuous vigilance against future threats.
