Essence of the Danger Zone

 This canned drink's labeling features references to other universes you may or may not get. Tastes like orange, blue skies, and JP-7. Drinking it grants you the following:

○A self-designed body that is functionally peak for your species, no matter what species you are, and with no regard to its visible attributes. Your constitution and general ability to survive the rigors of aerospace combat are well above the peak for your species.

○Your piloting abilities are peerless. Anything flight capable you get your grubby little mitts on is more agile, deadly, fast, and survivable purely by virtue of you being at the controls.

○This will never be made irrelevant. Even if you are infinitely fast, any aircraft you fly will be infinitely fast+1, or whatever it takes. Additionally, any abilities you have can be channeled through your aerial vehicles in whatever way is most useful, so long as you are piloting them.

○The weapons, fuel, and any other stores of your aircraft are multiplied by a factor of 100, and they will fully reload any time you land somewhere in friendly territory and give them even just a half-hour's attention. Their loadout must be weaponry you own or have owned at least one example of, however.

○Any aircraft you so much as glance at is added to a mental library you can access with barely a thought. This library gives you perfect engineering and maintenance knowledge of them regardless of your own technical knowledge before this essence. You could even home-make upgrades for your planes with the right materials and tools. This ability extends to their weapons, as well.

○One free combat-focused plane or helicopter of your own design, potentially based on an existing real world or fictional aircraft. It has three moderately powerful special abilities/special weapons of your design, but can be upgraded by you far easier than any other if you want more or stronger abilities. It will return to you wholly intact 24 hours later if it's destroyed.

○Even if mute, you can communicate effectively and perfectly with others in your airspace. Nobody will find this unusual.

○Optionally, any two-seat aircraft you fly will spontaneously manifest a plucky tomboy copilot. No, she doesn't exist outside of the plane. Good for moral support, though. If you enter a craft with more than two positions, like a four-seat EA-6B, there will be more tomboys of various flavors. They will always be able to keep up with your skills, much like your planes themselves.

○If you elect not to take the tomboy, any extra positions will still function as though someone with your skill were sitting in them. She'll be sad, though.

○You can teach others piloting skills close to your own in a mere fraction of the time it would normally take.

○A 75% discount on any purchases in piloting themed CYOAs or piloting themed purchases elsewhere, applying before any existing discounts.

○Of course, this is all toggleable, or a sliding scale, adjusting to your liking.

○Optionally, be inserted into a specific or generic air combat centric setting.

Essence of the Archetypal Cowboy

 This bottle is labeled with 'XXX', but lacks any other distinguishable details… actually, it looks more like a movie prop than anything else. Tastes like sand, moonshine, and polished metal.

○You are now the cowboy. Transcending even the western genre, you embody what it means to be the desert wanderer, the six-shooting rider with no name.

○You possess a body more like comic book peak human than anything realistic, of your own design. It doesn't have to look how an actual human capable of your feats would, and in fact has a preference for the leaner, more unassuming (but still surprisingly attractive) kind of build.

○Even if you choose an outlandishly noticeable appearance with anime protagonist hair, your ability to blend into crowds and remain hidden until the right moment is transcendental. With a wide-brim hat and a poncho, you could bundle yourself up a bit and instantly become one with a crowd. Even the most talented investigator wouldn't be able to tell a thing about you, and wouldn't even notice you at first.

○This street is two-way though: with even an unassuming, modest outfit, you may also toggle an effect of equally transcendental emotion. While the strong-willed will not back down with this, you could stand in the middle of the street and barely shift your weight and instantly be recognized as the most dangerous gunslinger in the world to any who see you. Whether or not you actually are this dangerous is up to you; but your ability to inspire awe/fear/whatever other emotion is incredible and ignores normal boundaries. Even an emotionless AI would sweat in the brow.

○Your aptitude for firearms of any sort ignores realism. Ricochet a bullet off a metal sign while shooting over your shoulder and using the reflection in a window across the street to aim and your bullet would be square between the eyes of your target. This extends to all forms of ranged weapons, but guns are more cinematic. You also have no trouble maintaining or reloading weapons, and in fact so long as the ammo is somewhere on your person or in a quickly accessible form of storage you don't need to worry about reloading manually.

○Any damage you deal with a ranged weapon is at least doubly effective, while maintaining the same visible damage. For example, a shot to the chest with an arrow wouldn't normally be instantly fatal by any means, but anybody you hit with an arrow will fall like they'd been hit by a gun, even if the only damage you can see is an arrow in their chest.

○You instantly know how to operate any man-portable guns you gain access to. If you have the right controls available, you're also a much better shot with things like artillery or ship's guns than anyone else too, but not quite so dramatically perfect.

○Your small actions may have significantly wider reaching consequences, wherever you desire. Your minor good-natured behavior could overnight lead a whole town to respecting you more, your vanishing into a crowd making you seem more like a boogeyman than a real human, your exploits in gunfighting reaching legendary status in no time… However it applies, it will only ever be in a way that you would actually want. You could simply want to go under the radar and none of these effects would ever trigger, or perform good deeds while still being renowned for your evil instead and vice versa.

○You are supernaturally skilled at any feats a fictional or real cowboy would be skilled at. Ranching, thievery, macgyvering, demolitions… anything that would just make sense in the moment for a cowboy to be capable of, you will be beyond peak human at.

○You are a conceptual rider. You could do something like wave your hand in a placating gesture over the head of the most dangerous and untamable of all mounts and it would instantly respect your command. They will never be frightened by the boomstick you fire off their back, nor will they ever be struck by random chance. They will live long, healthy, but probably very exciting lives, unless explicitly targeted by an enemy. Even then, they will functionally be about 2x the peak of their species in all aspects.

○Anytime you use a creature that has been established as a mount of some kind to get somewhere, you may choose to invariably arrive in time for whatever you're doing. Need to cross the world overnight? Hop on a horse, you'll make it just at the last minute. This applies in the most fashionable or cinematic way you can think of, maybe your memories (and everyone else's) are replaced with a badass riding montage, maybe everyone saw you riding through town real slow and recognized how badass you are, despite there being no way you were in town so soon… whatever. It'll probably be suitably badass however it happens. This has a one-week cooldown. Even when not using this ability, your mounts are at least double as fast as even the peak for their species is, and you have no problem keeping up with riding them at these speeds.

○This extends, again to a slightly lesser extent, to vehicles as well. Maybe you're a biker cowboy?

○You may induct others into your Posse. This requires spending at least three days working or living alongside them for most of the time, and they may choose to decline. If they accept, they will gain access to weakened versions of all your abilities, progressively improving over time to your level. You may choose to withhold certain abilities from them or cap them at certain levels, and they will be none the wiser.

○You have the option to gain any or all of the following:

■An Iconic outfit that reforms itself if destroyed or damaged at all, but retains upgrades made to it. The only limitation is that these upgrades cannot extremely change the overall aesthetics of the outfit, which will always be cowboy-esque. This can be somewhat far removed, like leather jackets and jeans or whatever, but it will still trace its roots back to the cowboy style. You can summon it to yourself at any time regardless of obstacles, unless it's so severely damaged as to be unrecognizable. In that case, it will take a day to rebuild itself before you can recall it. This may optionally be a wardrobe of several similar outfits.

■An Iconic hat. It has all the protections and properties of the rest of the outfit, but is unique in that it will never wind up far from you unless you desire so, and repairs near-instantly. You could get nuked (supposin', of course, you could survive a nuclear blast) and reach into the ash a couple feet away, pull it out, and dust it off. Tilting it provides a unique effect depending on your mood and how it's angled. Want to be mysterious? Just having your eyes shaded with it will make you as unrecognizable as you want. Want to be threatening? Lift it up slowly to level a steely-eyed gaze worthy of the gods. Want to be slick? Tilt it to one side a little, and look supremely cool instantly.

■Iconic firearms. Up to one long rifle, one shotgun, and two pistols/sidearms. Most likely from real world history, or inspired by it. These guns are double the effectiveness of any real world counterpart, which is then multiplied by the previously mentioned ranged weapon boost when in use by you. If they don't have a real world counterpart, they will default to 'closest applicable'. They can update when visiting new worlds/time periods to an equivalently strong weapon for their time, such as becoming very powerful crossbows in pre-gunpowder civilizations. These weapons can physically absorb others from their same category for stat boosts and access to special abilities. Their outward appearance is up to you, but will by default be refined by aspects of each new example you subsume. They return to your hand or any applicable storage space on your body/part of you when called, and cannot be fired against you in any scenario unless you truly desire so.

○Of course, this is all toggleable, or a sliding scale, adjusting to your liking.

○Optionally, be inserted into a specific or generic setting that features cowboys or archetypally similar rogues.

Essence of Monster Musume

 The bottle this essence comes in is shaped like your preferred partner's body type, albeit with some strange added features… Tastes like fearousal. Drinking it grants you the following:

•The moment you enter a new setting or universe you may choose to make any nonhuman creatures or living things into monmusu-style versions of themselves. For example, all the dragons become dragon-girls, all the colossi into colossi-girls, you get the picture. They don't necessarily have to be female, either, that's just the most common use of this. This is a sliding scale anywhere from "More humanoid, you can successfully honk honk with them now, but they're still mostly monster-shaped." to "They're pretty much just humans with extra bits now."

•Their size is also up to you. Keep dragon-girls at their original dragon size, or shrink them down (but still maintain the same effects on the world around them).

•They will have body types that are most aesthetically or physically pleasing to you, but still manage to keep you guessing and have a lot of diversity.

•This will somehow not majorly affect the plot or behavior of the universe. It will have some humorous or strange results, but everything will shake out the same and very few people will ever question it.

•If you didn't change any creatures when you first entered the setting, you may instead change them when in their presence. This will also not have any major plot effects or questioning attached to it, unless you so desire.

•Any creature you change may now sufficiently pass the Harkness Test, although they won't be immediately inclined to doing the deed with you. That is a goal you must reach yourself.

•You may however opt to alter the behavior of the converted creatures of the universe you're in to be more suggestive. This can be anywhere from 'well, that weird hairless monkey looks compatible enough' to 'since I defeated this adventure, rather than kill them I'm going to [REDACTED] them'. This could really majorly affect the plot, unlike the prior changes, and lead to some rough fates, MGE style.

•Beneficial and helpful creatures also apply for this, even those obtained from prior essences. Team up with good monstergirls to save humanity! Or whatever.

•Of course, this is all toggleable, or a sliding scale adjusting to your liking, so long as it stays at or below the original stated strength.

•Optionally, be inserted into a specific or generic setting, including fanfiction or non-canon media.

Essence of Gizmo's Choice Tweaks

 This essence tastes like Gizmo. Don't ask what Gizmo tastes like. By drinking this essence, you are granted:

○A functionally peak human body with an appearance that doesn't necessarily relate to its abilities. You may shed any mental or physical conditions, even those traditionally seen as beneficial, that you possessed before drinking this essence and for any reason want to be rid of. This physical form and its characteristics are irrelevant and modifiable even long after you consume this essence, so long as they stay recognizably a member of the human race. This is cosmetic, species-specific shapeshifting. Its real purpose is to let you be who you really want to be, even if that desired form changes down the line, and allow you some experimentation regarding your body type and what tools you do or do not possess downstairs. It's not really meant to give you an edge beyond a guarantee of 'functioning at the peak of humanity and looking as damn good as I want'. This cosmetic shapeshifting is also available for any other bodies or races you gain access to down the line, following the same logic.

○You may hybridize, mix, or blend any of your Alt-Forms as you wish. Essentially, any bodies you gain as a result of a CYOA, essence, or any other method later on (or even possessed before this essence) may be combined together. This can be used strategically to remove weaknesses or access race-specific abilities as you see fit, but also for cosmetic alterations like sprouting cat ears belonging to a feline alt-form you have or replacing limbs with those of a species you possess access to. Any changes may be undone without repercussions. This has an artistic bent to it as well, so you may make thematically appropriate changes to the material you are adding. Examples are: accessing a dragon's claws giving you scales up to your elbow, the wings that belong to your massive kaiju form being an actually usable size when they sprout from your human back, your lupine paws letting you grow fur up an otherwise human leg, etc.

○You have an innate sense for changes to the timeline, and total immunity to being removed from the equation by paradoxes or other time-shenanigans. You will coast through alterations to the timeline in whatever way you find most favorable, keeping your memories and body by default. If you have access to any personal extradimensional spaces, like a cosmic warehouse or even just a personal inventory, it and anything within it will also remain wholly unaffected.

○You have the ability to use your powers in just about any situation. Yours is the multitool, even something purely offensive at first glance, like shooting lasers from your eyes somehow being used to save someone falling from a building. This extends to any future and past abilities or those from other essences, drastically improving their versatility. This is not necessarily the addition of new features, just extreme aptitude for thinking outside the box with what you have.

○You can utilize conflicting abilities, such as light and dark magic, simultaneously without drawbacks.

○You possess a soundtrack of your design that you may play at any time. You can be extremely specific in your music choice, down to a specific live performance of the song across history, or broadly general in theme and a few preferred artists. It will never play anything you don't want to hear, and you can selectively allow others to hear it. It will also spontaneously generate new music by your whims; want to hear Queen perform a rock opera about your adventures? It can do that. You may also elect to have it play a constant background soundtrack as though you were in a film or video game, with preexisting songs and surprise vocal tracks added in for appropriate moments. This music is conceptual in nature, and can never overload or distract you in any capacity you do not desire.

○You may elect to have any ability you possess, even those granted by this essence, nerfed for the sake of adventure, humility, whatever. You must TRULY desire this. You cannot be mind-controlled, pheromone-influenced, subconsciously affected, yada yada yada. This must be YOUR REAL DESIRE. You can also choose how quickly they are trained back up to normal, if they even are at all.

○Speaking of which: You possess blanket immunity to all forms of mind control or mind alteration on a conceptual level, as well as immunity to being pathed by precognitives and immunity to instant-kill attacks.

○If you obtain an alter-ego as a superhero or the like, the connection simply cannot be drawn between you and that alter-ego by fiat, unless you desire for it to be known by the individual.

○You have some means of blindly hopping to a new universe or setting. It requires thematically appropriate and potentially difficult setup to be achieved, and you might be locked in one setting until the plot wraps up, but it can take you literally anywhere, just not accurately. You may also use it to reach strange, wholly new worlds that might be mashups of preexisting ones or totally alien and new universes never seen before (Figuratively. They'll probably have some life forms somewhere.)

○When teleporting at random (most relevantly, traveling blindly to a new universe or world), you cannot emerge inside a solid object. You will always arrive somewhere safe. (mostly. Don't expect to teleport to a war-covered planet and arrive somewhere that's magically untouched.)

○When arriving in a new setting, you are guaranteed access to the local magic systems, cultivation systems, superpowers, supernatural martial arts, plot-central bloodline, yadda yadda yadda. You'll gain something for every place you travel to, although don't expect to be the strongest user of a given system without a little (lotta) luck.

○You may append the following to any CYOA document, and also use them now for a first-time trip to a new world or to adjust the items presented above:

Essence of Gizmo's Choice Powers

 This essence tastes like Gizmo. Don't ask what Gizmo tastes like. By drinking this essence, you are granted:

○Immortality. What kind? Up to you. You can design it however you want, and to be as absolutely unkillable as you want or merely unaging. You can't gain any other function through this than just cheating death, natural or unnatural, though. That is the only ability of this power.

○Roll the Powerlisting Random Powers Button up to seven times. Choose three. You now possess those abilities, inspired by my complete indecision when it comes to designing powersets. They will start off weak, even if it's something like Omnilock or Absolute Omnipotence or whatever, only strong enough on their own (at first) to take on about six human soldiers at once. With, let's say, two years of decently focused training, you'd be capable of cracking cities with each power, not even touching on what you could do with all three at once.

○Roll the Powerlisting Random Physiology Button (https://powerlisting.fandom.com/wiki/Special:RandomInCategory/Physiology) five times. Pick two. You now have an alt-form that is a hybrid of these two physiologies. This is inspired by my total indecision when it comes to designing character appearances, and because hybrids are just plain cool. Much like the other power, you will 'only' be strong enough with this to take on a single tank at first, and have difficulty adapting to the body and its instincts. It will have greater raw power early on than your three previous powers, but takes longer to train or 'evolve'. Evolving refers to increases in size or capabilities, as well as elevating your status among lesser examples of the component physiologies.

○None of your abilities, from here or otherwise, have a limit anymore. It will take training, sometimes specialized and difficult, but they will grow without end.

○Of course, this is all toggleable, or a sliding scale adjusting to your liking, so long as it stays at or below the original stated strength.

○Optionally, be inserted into a specific or generic setting, including fanfiction or non-canon media.

Essence of Gizmo's Choice Lewds

 You're not sure you want to know what the fluid inside this bottle is. The label only reads: "Fine. I'll cater to it." Drinking this Gizmo-flavored liquid with syrupy consistency grants you the following:

○Your… equipment is now completely under your purview. You may make any changes to them that you desire, so long as either an alt-form you possess has them or a real world animal has them. Want a practically third leg sized dick? Pretty common request. Multiple of them? No biggie. Barbed? Sure. This cannot grant you any advantage other than 'damn, that probably feels good inside someone/damn, if someone was inside that it would feel good'. This also applies to other sexual features, such as breasts or the like.

○Regardless of what changes you make to your genitals, they will be extremely pleasurable for any future partners and for you yourself. Future partners will also at worst find any changes intriguingly exotic, never too grossed out or freaked out by them. Unless you want that, I guess?

○Your tools will resize themselves when necessary to remain safe to use, but also so that you can wear clothes and somehow conceal your magnum… opus.

○Alternatively, you may set it so that things run more on hentai physics, and remove size's downsides altogether. This comes with the usual other effects that you can decrease or increase at will, such as the lewdness of the universe you're in and how normal any given sexual feature is.

○You may alter the general sexuality of a setting's physiologies. For example, making everyone naturally cut/uncut, increasing average thigh size or breast size, that sort of thing. You can also genderbend everyone and anyone, and introduce new genders, such as futanari or A/B/O dynamics. These changes will somehow never majorly affect logic in a setting, unless you also altered the lewdness.

○Your refractory period, sexual stamina, and all aspects of the fluids you produce are completely under your control. You may also delay or speed up your orgasms if you want to time it just right with someone else or win a bet on who cums first.

○You are supernaturally charismatic when it comes to getting others into bed with you and maintaining relationships. This sidesteps ordinary boundaries, letting you talk your way into sex with gods and monsters if you're down for that. If someone is already pissed at you for whatever reason, it will still take a lot more effort to get them interested.

○You have total control over your fertility, virility, the period of time it takes your children or those you produce in others to gestate/grow, the manner by which you reproduce (as in, placental or oviposition or whatever), what traits or abilities your children inherit, and what percentage of you or their other parent(s) they take after.

○Some optional abilities are now available to you, although they don't serve much purpose outside of being lewd. These include:

○The ability to use patterns, organs, vocalizations, pheromones, etc to hypnotize. These can be subtle, like influencing someone into bed with you just by speaking coded words to them, or hit like a brick, like having a weird bioluminescent dick that quickly subdues others who see it. You could probably cheese this and subject the whole planet to your control or whatever, but I think you'd be missing the point. Sufficient willpower can get past these effects.

○You may give supernatural effects to your fluids, such as slight healing, refractory recharging, extreme warmth or coolness (although it will never be damaging, just the sensation), increasing virility/chance of impregnation, unusual colors or visuals, whatever you can think of that wouldn't offer an advantage outside of catering to strange kinks.

○The creation of markings on others during intercourse that serve a variety of effects. Things like tattoos or brands. They can have mind influencing effects or impart buffs/debuffs.

○Your powers and body will never make you unfuckable. Even if you're literally made of fire, there will be no downside to sex with you other than sweltering (but not truly harmful) heat. This goes both ways as well, so you can stick your dick in a flame atronach, finally. This only applies during intercourse; don't expect total resistance to others' bodily effects unless you're up in there, or they're up in you. Your (or your partners') abilities will also never misfire or accidentally activate during hanky-panky fun times. Special exceptions can be made as you desire, such as barbs actually..., yknow, sticking.
