Agnes wanted nothing more than to sleep and eat. She was so tired all the time.
She had been troubled by the fact that she could not recognize her own brother at first glance. However, after a while, she could not care less about that. At least, Theo was safe and alright. It did not matter whether she could remember him or not.
She lay in Seth's bed, watching the birds fly around the room. Seth made those birds. They were purple in color, ranging from light to dark. They flew in unison.
Agnes always had been fond of animals. She liked to watch them. Watching them made Agnes think that the animals, like humans, had a way of thinking. They knew how to solve their problems in their own way. They knew what was dangerous and what was safe. In her opinion, the intelligence of humans was overrated. Animals could be just as smart and they could simply choose not to care about the things humans cared about.
