Adalricus was at the very top of a thirty foot building, he was sitting at the brink of the roof, his legs dangling off the edge, with a tall bottle of clear wine to left almost gone, he takes a few swigs emptying it with a sigh and looked at the pills to his right then looks down at the asphalt it looked so soft if he could just..
"My ma probably found my letter..by now, maybe she cares enough to call the cops?" He gets up "Welp gotta take this opportunity before I miss it." The sounds of sirens sounded very far away but were drawing closer he rolled up his sleeves revealing my very abused wrists, obviously harmed from something sharp, some were old but most were new and the blood dropped down his arms.
He straightened the silk black and white suit he was wearing and brush off imaginary dust hearing the sirens draw closer he chuckled "Well, I'm going to meet God so I gotta look nice."
He stood at the edge and looked down once again with a small smile, happy for it all to end and jumped down his heart beat acceleratiled at the adrenaline now pumping through his vein, smiling wider and he saw the ground coming closer to his face "If I survive I'll see you tomorrow.." he mumbled before he hit the ground with a loud crack he didn't really feel any pain but there was a lot of pressure the sirens got unbearably louder and he chuckled but could only cough blood, his eyes got heavy, felt cold and weak, and then it all went dark.
Adalricus opened his eyes again and coughed, his eyes dart around at the void that he's floating in, Adalricus looks down and doesn't see his lower half but somehow knows it there, he looks around "so many stars..where exactly am I?" He was confused he expected to be judged and sent to Heaven or Hell maybe even Limbo "Is this Limbo...?"
He floats around looking for something, someone but finds nothing "God..?" And suddenly there is a large crack in the space he's in and he floats away from it. Hands grab the edges of the crack and stretch it wider and the being passes through, as soon as it walks out of the crack it closes.
"Apologies, I'm a little late, I was chatting with Ihy. And I didn't pay attention to your presence in my domain." The Being sighs and looks over Adalricus "So Heaven, Limbo or Reincarnation." Adalricus was confused what does he mean by that? Does..does he get to choose? Why wasn't Hell and option did it not exist? "No." The Being said "Hell exist, it just you've done nothing to really deserve it, the only sins you've committed is the multilation of skin, Stealing and Suicide you honestly followed every other commandment for your universe. You get to choose because you deserve to go to those three and I'm too lazy to just throw you in one of them so choose."
Adalricus reflected on this. He wanted to go to heaven badly but was curious about reincarnation "Can I ask why reincarnation is an opinion when there would be no point if I don't have my memories?" He doesn't understand why would anyone want to reincarnate when there really wasn't a point in doing so other than to live again without the knowledge of your previous life...because he read so many fanfictions he felt that .
"I mean you can go with your memories if you want to..I can grant you that as God approves as well but that's the most you can get from me other than choosing where and small details like background and ancestry, but you can't get perks, talents and abilities that you don't already have." Adalricus was amazed "Why am I...? Nevermind thank you for you generosity.. " The being nods and chuckles.
"So do you want a wheel to pick where you go, or Can you choose youself." Adalricus face turns to slight horror at the idea he didn't like gambling..it reminded him to much of gacha "I can choose sir.." he says a bit quick
The being nods at his response "Alright then" It hands Adalricus a paper and pencil with one of those erasers that like to smear answers instead of erase, y'know the shitty ones.
Adalricus takes the paper and pencil and starts writing where he's to be reincarnated, his parentage, name, backstory, looks and age and after a few minutes of checking over, he hands it to the being with a satisfied smile. The Being takes it and reads it over "Percy Jackson..? The Books and Not the Movies or TV Show? You do realized that your life will be harsher in the books compared to the cinema's correct?"
Adalricus nods and the Being sighs once more "I guess I did say you can choose you parentage, I didn't expect you to choose this god- well goddess." He shrugs still proud of who he chose "You realize she WILL try to meddle with your...romantic life yes?" Adalricus again nods, seemingly not caring and the being sighs "Alright." The paper burns and and turns to smoke, that smoke then transfers into Adalricus body and he transforms to the person person he's written to become.
"I wish you luck then Adalricus, You mother isn't combat strong so you will struggle.." Adalricus smirks a little and shrugs "More experience then." The Being snaps his fingers and Adalricus new body disappears from the void he was in and the being turns to a very bright light that slowly appeared.
"Is that reincarnate my responsibility father?" The bright orb of light red hums curious, and with a shake of the head from the being it then disappeared The being sighs and a big desk pops out of no where as well as a chair.
"More paper work for me..yay..." it says with fake enthusiasm before sitting in it's chair and piles of paper work appears on the desk and the being takes out a pen, grabs a sheet and gets to writing.
It stops for a second pausing, and summons a real miniature version earth of the one Adalricus now resides in, it puts the earth at the corner of its desk and the ball of dirt just floats there "I'll be watching you child." It mumbles.
