The black wolf in front of them shifts, standing out. It's Luca. Quickly, my mind flashes back to when we were leaving Ulfred's house. He gave him a nod. Was it kind of a signal to let him know he should come after us?
"Damien!" Luca mutters, his face stern.
Does he know him?
Does everyone here know about Damien? Well, he said he was somehow related to Ulfred, though he tried to make it clear that it was only a distant relation. But still, they share the same family name. Perhaps they lived together in the early years before he broke away from the pack.
"How dare you intrude into the Starry Banes pack territory? You know very well this is a crime if you are not a pack member. Besides, you clearly made an attack on our Alpha. That is a sin worth slaughter. I know you know all that, am I right?" Luca says, cocking his head to one side to study Damien's face.
However, Damien doesn't seem to be affected. He still wears that steel look.
