After a while, two boys and one girl arrived in the field. The girl's white hair sparkled like stars under the sunlight, her black eyes complementing her serious demeanor. One boy had red hair and eyes, exuding an aggressive aura; the other had black hair with blue eyes. Rei, having read the report, recognized the girl as Amanises, the red-haired boy as Klein Mretti—his fiery appearance a result of his intense fire nature—and the black-haired boy as Lucien Evans. They were likely among the most elite chūnin in the academy.
"Hello, guys. I'm your team leader, Rei, and I am a jōnin. Don't underestimate me because of my age," Rei announced, releasing his chakra pressure. The atmosphere instantly tensed. Despite only a third of his chakra being released, it was potent enough to render chūnin unconscious; yet, this trio stood their ground, a testament to their elite status.
Once Rei ceased, they collapsed to the ground, desperately gasping for air.Lower their gaze they began to introduce themselves.
"Hello, sir. I am Amanises, a chūnin from the 13th batch," Amanises introduced herself. Klein and Lucien followed suit, both hailing from the same batch. "Klein and Lucien, demonstrate your jutsu," Rei instructed. Klein executed the Fire Style: Massive Fireball Jutsu with practiced precision. He also showcased several Wind Style techniques. Lucien displayed his mastery over Water Style with jutsu like the Massive Flood and Water Blades, and Earth Style with the Mud Wall and Tearing Earth Turning Palm.
"Very well, both of you. Now, Amanises, cast your genjutsu on me," Rei directed, his gaze fixed on Amanises. With a nod, she performed hand signs, and wild vines sprang forth, ensnaring Rei. More hand signs, and suddenly, dozens of Amanises materialized, hurling fireballs at him. Unfazed, Rei gestured, dispelling the illusion. "Impressive. Such power is rare, even a jōnin might struggle to break free," Rei acknowledged. "Thank you, sir," Amanises responded, momentarily forgetting Rei's youth. "Next month, we begin missions. Starting today, we'll perfect combination jutsus to enhance our team's lethality against our enemies.
