"Yes," Gu Ran said, "in interpersonal relationships, courage is the starting point for all relationships of trust."
An Yao thought about his words for a while, then nodded.
"Besides romantic troubles, is there anything else bothering you?" Gu Ran asked her.
"Nope, life is smooth sailing."
"I see." Gu Ran nodded, "Then may I share my observations about you?"
"Sure." An Yao showed interest.
"An Yao, it seems like you're not very satisfied with your height?" Gu Ran chose an issue she cared about but that wouldn't cause her much distress.
"Yes, I mentioned earlier, can't find a boyfriend, but it's quite convenient to find a girlfriend. Girls really do prefer someone around six feet." An Yao laughed.
