"If next time we can surf together side by side, I'll agree to date you," she said.
"I don't want that," Gu Ran refused, "I don't want any external force to determine our relationship, not even fate or nature. Only we can decide about us. Now, I want to be with you. What about you?"
"Are you really thinking that, or are you worried you can't do it?" Su Qing looked at him.
"I only care about your thoughts. Do you want surfing to decide our relationship because you are shy, or are you worried about our future?"
After another brief silence, Su Qing answered, "Both."
"Definitely more shy!" Gu Ran laughed.
"It's more about worries!" Su Qing's solemn mood was suddenly disrupted by him.
