Gu Ran paused, then softened his tone, and asked Su Qing, "This is a debate and disagreement between doctors about treatment plans, not a personal quarrel, right?"
Zhuang Jing smiled.
Su Qing couldn't help it either and pursed her lips with a smile.
"Yes," she nodded, "It's a discussion and disagreement between doctors, not a personal feud."
"Ok then," Gu Ran finally felt relieved, "and there's also the issue of dignity. Tang Ming's family keeps visiting him, clearly not wanting to just leave the old man in the hospital for their own peace of mind;
"Reducing Tang Ming's emotions might not be a bad thing, allowing him to worry less about his children, cause less trouble for them, and think less about life and death issues."
"Most importantly, it allows him more time with his family. Though his emotions are weak, for his family, just being by his side is already enough consolation."
