"Send me one of these in the future."
"What kind of flower do you want?"
"A million-dollar orchid."
"You sure have expensive taste!"
The rain beat down on the umbrella, pitter-pattering as the two laughed and walked forward through the narrow flower-lined alley.
Chen Ke suddenly let out an "Ah!"
"What's wrong?" Gu Ran stopped in his tracks.
"We passed it." Chen Ke was a bit embarrassed.
The two turned around and walked back.
Gu Ran laughed and said, "You leave during the day and come back at night, only recognizing home in the evening; don't recognize it in the daytime?"
"Hmm—perhaps." Chen Ke replied seriously, "This is it."
Gu Ran raised the umbrella higher and examined the house before him.
A one-story house, it looked somewhat shabby on the outside, but the windows were clean and one could vaguely make out the coffee-shop-like atmosphere within.
Chen Ke unlocked the door using a fingerprint lock.
