"How's that for a shield, not bad, right?"
Guan Mengmeng said with a smug look on her face.
"Yeah, it's not bad, in fact, I hit the jackpot!"
Yang Hao laughed and nodded. He had agreed to Guan Mengmeng's childish request mainly because he thought the girl had the potential to become an NPC.
But now he wasn't so utilitarian, thinking it'd be fun to have such an interesting "big friend" in his life.
"Hao, Mengmeng, we're heading out, there's another round with the colleagues waiting."
Liu Zifeng's designated driver had arrived; he greeted Yang Hao and Guan Mengmeng, then he and Feng Lina got into the car.
"Hao, put on a good show later!"
"Who knows, you might even get a permanent position out of it!"
Feng Lina, sitting in the car, rolled down the window and waved at them while teasing.
Yang Hao shook his head with a smile, "I'm not falling for that; temporary workers are there to take the blame, there's no such thing as going permanent!"
