Both of them went to the shoe cabinet to change shoes, then they headed home together, and next Tuesday would be the Cultural Festival. After school, the campus was noticeably busier, with students drafted as laborers occasionally passing by, carrying large decorative items. Some were marking out spaces and sticking up warm-up posters. A few clubs were also hard at it, rehearsing, amidst an incessant stream of people coming and going—a scene of total chaos.
But that had nothing to do with them, the core members of the "Homecoming Club," who leisurely walked out of the school gate.
