Kiyomi Liuli really liked her new friend, Sugita Mai, who spoke so nicely and was so well-behaved, resembling a doll, and they could totally become best friends.
Yeah, then I could join her in badmouthing boys, especially that guy who is always so annoying.
Sugita Mai saw Kiyomi Liuli blushing and daydreaming and was somewhat speechless. It was her first time seeing such an easy-to-please girl, as if all her years were spent on a dog.
But it wasn't a bad thing. She waited a moment and then asked curiously, "Kiyomi, could you tell me about the case?"
"The case, huh!" Kiyomi Liuli snapped out of her reverie and asked with interest, "What kind of case do you want to hear about? We've cracked quite a few cases for the police in the past six months."
"Just pick an interesting one to talk about." Sugita Mai pushed her wheelchair outside and said, "Wait a moment, Kiyomi."
"Where are you going?"
"I'll be right back."
