All affairs settled in Asahikawa, Nanahara Takeshi and Kiyomi Liuli took Sumaru Yuki and swiftly headed home.
Without a direct sightseeing train available, they took a tour bus to a rapid train, winding their way back, and it wasn't until after eight in the evening that they finally walked through their front door.
Kiyomi Liuli carried the hefty backpack, how she took it is how she brought it back. Having toted it all the way for nothing, she quickly hid it upon entering to avoid being ridiculed by Nanahara Takeshi. And then she promptly transformed into a domestic goddess, beginning to dust the living room.
Sumaru Yuki showed commendable initiative, stepping up to help without being asked. Meanwhile, Nanahara Takeshi entered the kitchen and started rummaging through the fridge, occasionally sniffing at the ingredients and pondering what to cook—since taking the regular train doesn't warrant high expectations for food, they had only grabbed a quick bite for dinner.
