This was highly unlikely; upon changing living environments on short notice, at least two or three people should have been in a light sleep. The explanation that they had drunk alcohol wasn't sufficient, especially since Akeda Kanae mentioned, "Last night was strange, and I felt tightness in my chest after waking up." This further proved that they indeed had taken some kind of sleep medication.
