Grudgingly, Aelina trudged the dark city street in a state of bitterness with a crushed heart walking into rendezvous parts where immortality and bad things that happened were a total norm for those who liked or wanted it.
Sickly, she moved paying no notice or attention to the people on the sidewalk she walked passed that were kissing, drinking, smoking and making out publicly like they were never there in her act unawareness.
Getting to the popular cloud9, five-star and most loved of all clubs in the city, she walked through the glass door entering the barely lit room hit by a blaring but deafening loud hard rock music. The club was none other than the famous 'Jagger Night Club' with its opulent famed activities.
Laungidly, she walked around with a dead look on her face as she made her way up to the bar counter and sat on the first unoccupied stool that her eyes landed on.
Dropping her clutch bag, she layed her hands on the wooden counter table while looking down with her gaze low as it was difficult to raise her head to face the rashness and harshness of reality without letting out a lot of tears.
"What do you want, miss?" She heard a deep easy going voice asked instantly sounding in her ears.
Slowly, she lifted her head and with her teary eyes looked up as she regarded the young, handsome and able bodied barman flashing a cute smile at me.
This was the smile that Draven had once used endearing her into falling deeply in love with him and now she hated him more than death. The fact that the cute waiter barman was giving her the same smile made her much upset of her failed romance.
"Give me five bottles of beer, please" I answered ordering coldly not returning the polite gesture or favour of his smile.
This was her plan as she couldn't forget him nor stop the unenduring pain she decided to drink and get drunk to relieve herself of the sorrow while drowning in misery. Shocked and with a blank stare, she watched him looked at her and confused while being dumbstruck she looked at him back.
"Coming right up, miss" He responded after a while tapping the counter top after giving her long blank stare.
Instinctively, she knew what he was thinking about and what was on his mind. Probably, he was wondering, 'How would a young decent woman like me take five bottles of beer?'
Well, he shouldn't be that surprise as a barman who'd experiences with heartbroken woman and we tend to do much of anything when we're hurt while being much in that state of pain. Like, it was normal as she just needed something that could keep her off the pain while drowning herself in misery with.
"Here you go, miss" He offered finally his face with a look of concern while bringing all that she'd offered.
"Thank you" She responded in appreciation when he'd set them before her seeing that he hesitated a little before going away like he'd wanted to say something then thought not of it.
Immediately, she'd gotten it she didn't even wait nor let him open the bottles for her. With a gulped, she drank one of the bottles in a rush not even pausing all the while along with a crystal clear glass cup and belched a little afterwards.
Embarrassed, she covered her mouth slightly when she saw his gaze wandering on her bemused but she didn't mind nor give a damn about his pretended looks of concern. She didn't take much time before she started chugging down another different bottle as she felt much more better drinking the intoxicated alcohol being that it helped her more than a little.
The stabbing pain that repeatedly gnashed at her heart wasn't there anymore as she couldn't feel nor sensed it aching effect. For a moment, her mind was completely cleared off of all irrelevant thoughts until Draven face appeared looming suddenly as if on cue it brought back the hurt and pain.
Sadly, she started going the through recounting the ups and downs event of her pathetic life. All through her life, she'd always lacked happiness and known only pain. At seventeen, she lost both her parents in a fatal car crash and she'd all been alone in the world since then as she doesn't know any of her close family relations.
Well, that was until she'd moved in with her Aunt Brenda who was her late mother's blood sister and her daughter Elsie but they've never treated her well no matter all the things along with the sacrifices she'd made for them considering her as nothing but a burden that'd been implaced forcefully on them.
