"Liu Qian, come here for a moment."
Early in the morning, Mr. Li had called Liu Qian to his office, and about three hours later, Liu Qian emerged with red-rimmed eyes, while Mr. Li stood behind her, his arm around her shoulders as he found Gu Tao.
"Mr. Gu, I'm taking Liu Qian out for a bit today," Mr. Li pushed up his glasses, "We probably won't be back until the afternoon, you drive and take us out please."
"Where to?" scratched his head, Gu Tao, "Ah... okay."
Gu Tao didn't ask any further questions, just nodded to acknowledge, and then, while Mr. Li wasn't looking, he slipped his sidearm into Liu Qian's backpack.
"Mr. Gu... I already have one, two guns aren't very aesthetically pleasing."
"Just take it," Gu Tao nodded, "Two guns is cool."
"Two guns is for old ladies..."
