Approaching the window, Xin Chen leaned out and was surprised by the dark clouds in the sky.

Streaks of lightning coursed through the billowing layers, their flaring tendrils spreading across, turning the abruptly darkened world a blood-red hue. Each flash of lightning was soon followed by the roar of thunder.
